"We dined here for our anniversary and had made note of that on our reservation. The morning of our reservation the restaurant called to confirm and wished us a happy anniversary. Upon arriving at the restaurant we were promptly greeted and again wished a happy anniversary. After being seated our server also wished us a happy anniversary! Our server, Rachel, was fantastic. She was prompt and attentive and also made great menu suggestions. Our meals were delicious. We had the traditional calamari and a salmon roll for appetizers and for dinner my wife had halibut Chesapeake and I had the crab cakes. Everything was excellent and the portions were perfect. After our meals our server brought a sparkler and two complimentary glasses of champagne in celebration of our anniversary! It was unexpected and really added to an already great experience. We highly recommend Chesapeake Inn! It’s not often that we go out to eat and are completely satisfied with the service, the food, and the atmosphere. Chesapeake Inn checks all of those boxes. If you’re thinking about it… just go!!"

"My family anxiously awaits for this place to open every summer. We love the Hershey's hand dipped ice cream and the prices are pretty reasonable. Parking can be crowded sometimes and the line can get crazy long but we've never stood in line longer than 10 minutes. There's a nice little area with picnic tables to sit. Only negative thing I have to say is the girls behind the counter make you feel rushed and are pretty short with you. Seems like she just wanted to get back to the conversation with her coworkers."

"My girlfriends and I had such a wonderful lunch at Baker's. I haven't been in many years, and remembered it being good then, and it still holds true. Our waitress (Jeanne) was awesome and super friendly. The atmosphere was cozy and the interior was reallynice. We had a tough time deciding on what to order, great variety of options. I ordered the Alabama Slamma which came withfries and a pickle, I added a side of coleslaw. Oh. My. Lanta. It was delicious! The chicken was cooked perfectly, juicy andflavorful, the fries were fresh and tasty, and the coleslaw was amazing, like good old fashioned grandma kind. My one friendordered the hot turkey sandwich with the homemade mashed potatoes. It looked amazing, and she enjoyed every bite. My otherfriend ordered the southwest chicken sandwich minus the bun and she also enjoyed hers. I had to end my lunch with a piece ofcheese cake.. it was yummy. We already made plans to meet again here for another lunch date. The great food, prices and serviceis too good not to return. The shepards pie and the ravioli with shrimp were both amazing! We had a very delicious dinner, bothdishes had great flavor and were filling. We enjoyed every bite. The Smith island carrot cake was tasty after dinner treat!"

"the owner buddy made sure that my big party a 1 service was given. the manager conner exemtifed large customer service bar none. he had his top server on my party. if a reflection of the great training in the field of customer service. also the view at the river was excellent. this restaurant makes all chain restaurants that need to improve their game. in the name of me and family and my dining room party, we will spread the word about a bright and wonderful dining room experience that we had to our friends, family, neighbours and colleagues."

"We decided to give this restaurant in Chesapeake City a try instead of some others because it was reasonably priced and had a consistent menu for dinner. The location is beautiful, right by the water with plenty of seating and great views. The outdoor deck was open with plastic coverings over the windows for warmth. Inside was cozy and warm with nice views of the water. The staff were all friendly, greeting us as we entered and wishing us a good night as we left. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. We ordered soup, drinks, and two appetizers. The Maryland crab was delicious and well-seasoned. The Lobster Bisque was overly salty, but still had good flavor. The crab bruschetta was excellent in presentation, flavor, and portion size. The Seafood Mango Avocado appetizer looked nice, but lacked in taste. The avocado was underripe and the crab meat was overpowering. We asked for some regular salsa to add some flavor, which our server happily provided. Even though the dish wasn't as delightful as we had hoped, we still enjoyed our experience and plan to return. The staff were great and the location was fantastic. Overall, despite a few minor food issues, we would recommend this restaurant."
