"I had a fantastic experience at Ketch Grill Taps, where I enjoyed exceptional service, delectable food, and breathtaking views. The open-concept layout, complete with a terrace and open doors, does attract a few wandering flies. We experienced a 35-minute wait for a table despite the restaurant being only half full, which could be attributed to a staffing shortage. Fortunately, we found seats at the bar, and everything went smoothly from that point on. The only drawback is that parking is metered, but the meters do accept credit cards. The average cost per person is about $25, though it can easily increase to around $50 if you opt for drinks and appetizers."

Came from out of town and stopped in at Ketch Grill Taps. The food was fantastic from the chowder bowls my wife and daughter had to the pretzels. Best fish and chips I ever had. Wife enjoyed her New York Steak. Our server Alex was the best, very polite and friendly. Would recommend!

Absolutely great food. The tuna is fresh and a great thick cut. I haven't had such a wonderful seafood meal in a while, and I live in Florida at the moment. The tacos appetizer was fantastic too. The only downside for me, was they did not have any stoutsor porter (dark) beers which is what I tend to like. So I just had water.

We were in the area for a couple of days to see a concert at Humphrey's. We ended up eating here three times because the food was so good and the location was lovely, right on the marina. Everything was fresh and delicious. Lots of outdoor tables, verycomfortable and modern environment. And the service was great. The staff was friendly and attentive. We had lunch once anddinner twice and everyone enjoyed all their meals and cocktails! Definitely order the frose! View menu

My husband and I had a great time at Ketch! The staff were nice and personable. I loved my mahi mahi and cauliflower. So filling and so many good flavors. Their menu is small so choices were limited, but we loved what we got! The ambiance is nice and wedidn't have to wait too long for our food. They do not take reservations and it was a bit chilly out, so we wanted to wait fortable near the heater. We had to wait like 10-15 minutes, but it was worth it. Will be back!

I really enjoyed eating at his place. The vibe is so good. Guys working there are so nice and kind. The food is delicious and you can drink good craft beer. I suggest you to order for the oyster soup with those delicious crackers to mix on it. The price for two considering that we order a hamburger, oyster soups, onion rings, chicken and tasters was $82 without tip. Wewere able to find a free table with bay view so if you arrive and it's full, I really recommend you to wait a lil bit for one ofthose tables. They really worth it.

My husband and I had a fantastic experience at Ketch Grill Taps! The staff was both friendly and attentive. I thoroughly enjoyed my Mahi Mahi and cauliflower; they were incredibly satisfying and full of flavor. While the menu is somewhat limited, we absolutely loved our selections! The atmosphere is lovely, and our food didn't take long to arrive. They don't accept reservations, and since it was a bit chilly, we opted to wait for a table near the heater. We waited around 10-15 minutes, but it was definitely worth it. I highly recommend this place! View menu

Great service, great food and to top it off, great view. Since the restaurant is an open concept that lead to an open door patio, you may have to fight off some of the flies coming in. The wait was 35 minutes for a seat even though the restaurant halffull and I think that may be due to short staff so we found a seat at the bar and it was smooth sailing from there. Only con isthat you have to pay for metered parking, atleast the meters accept cards. This place is $25 per person but if you?re drinkingand get an appetizer it can easily be $50 a person.

I had an amazing dining experience at Ketch Grill Taps. The ambiance is delightful, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The food is scrumptious, and they offer an impressive selection of craft beers. I highly recommend the oyster soup, especially paired with the delicious crackers. We ordered a hamburger, oyster soup, onion rings, chicken, and a sampler for two, which came to $82 before tip. We were fortunate to snag a free table with a view of the bay, so if it’s busy when you arrive, I suggest waiting for one of those tables—it’s absolutely worth it!

"I adore this restaurant. Golden Hill is filled with many many quality eateries, and Counterpoint anchors the neighborhood with it's fun atmosphere and dedication to quality. They recently renovated and the new space is open, airy and provides a variety of seating options: bar seating, restaurant seating, and upper balcony (I use this as a quiet place to WFH during the week), and an outdoor patio. I'm partial to the biscuit and gravy for breakfast, but the brined chicken and waffles or breakfast hash always makes me smile and sends me unto the world with a better outlook on life and a doggie bag. When it's hot, delicious crunchy salads are on the lunch menu and the craft beers and unique slushy flavors change. Counterpoint takes the quality of food and libations seriously. The craft cocktails rotate as the bartenders are encouraged to explore and grow. The owner and team are always warm, welcoming and make sure you have a good experience. Did I mention they are DOG friendly? Definitely worth the trip up the hill from downtown if you're looking to wind down after an event or precharge and eat before a baseball game. I love to bring my friends for a snack (try the olive selection) and chat on a twilight night. Space heaters outside if you get cold. Fans inside if you get warm. Honestly if you live in or are visiting the 92102 area code you should go to Counterpoint: good food, really good cocktails, and great company. It is clear that this establishment cares about quality, cares about your comfort and loves if you have a good time."
