"This was our second visit to Docs. It was one of the only places we could get reservations for Saturday night in sea isle. The service was very good, our waitress was attentive. We ordered a variety of apps for dinner and a tall single Tito w club. The drinks were $9.50 each!!! You've got to be kidding me. For a single tall? The apps were all fried and tasty, though a bit greasy. Don't think we are going to revisit here. If you go, just don't drink"

"I had a reservation, but when I asked to sit at an empty table, I was informed that it was reserved. I mentioned that I didn't know they could reserve tables, and I was told that they couldn't, but it was for VIPs. When I inquired about what makes someone a VIP, I was told it was anyone who visits 3 or 4 times a month. I then learned that they were busy because it’s peak season and the snowbirds are in town. The owner must have instructed the staff to hurry us along because when we finished our salads, our main course was promptly placed on the table. I felt rushed as if we were under a strict time limit, and we were on our way home within less than an hour after arriving."

"A “Gem” in the middle of lower Manhattan. Being that I’m a big fan of John Gotti, it was fitting to have dinner at this fabulous restaurant because this was his favorite restaurant according to his daughter, Angel. And in true fashion, we were not disappointed one bit. The ambience is absolutely spectacular and very romantic. We ate from the three course meal menu and everything was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place. Thank you, Angel Gotti for letting us know that this was one of your dad’s favorite restaurant in all of Manhattan."

"I had the Duck and it was amazing, I could eat just the sauce alone! My wife had the 3 course meal with some minor substitutes that were easily adjusted. The mashed potatoes and spinach were very good, but the steak underwhelmed in overall flavor; The preparation of it was very good though. I also order a side of the crab Mac-N-cheese, by far the best I’ve ever had from any fine dining experience! The waitress was also very nice and accommodated all of our requests, including a hand written note for my wife’s anniversary dessert!"

"A group of four of us spent $190 at this restaurant, which included two orders of the lowest tier seafood boil (without crab), a lobster sandwich, and clam chowder with crab meat. Unfortunately, the crab meat had a strong, fishy taste and smell. The seafood in the boil also didn't seem fresh and had a very unpleasant odor. The lobster sandwich raised my suspicions; I have a feeling it was mixed with imitation crab. Additionally, I wasn't impressed with the service model — you have to go up to the counter to place your order, and I found it lacking in attentiveness. Nobody checked in on us or offered to refill our water or bring napkins, which we needed. Overall, with so many other dining options available, I would not recommend this restaurant. Just to note, I am a local."

"Monday night vibes at The Grille on Congress who knew?!We walked in on a pretty packed Monday evening (kudos to you, folks, for bringing the energy! , and our server Matt welcomed us with a smile that could light up the whole restaurant! He was professional, attentive, and had a wicked sense of humor I mean, who else could make jokes about the weather and get us laughing? Thanks to Matt, our evening was elevated to 4 star status (he deserves a raise, just saying! .Now, onto the grub: my friends raved about the Veal and fish specials (I'm guessing they were delicious, since they were devoured in record time , but my MAPLE LEAF DUCK WITH VALENCIA ORANGE SAUCE... well, let's just say it was a bit of a quack y situation. The duck was crispy, but unfortunately, it was also extremely dry not quite the culinary masterpiece I was expecting.All in all, The Grille on Congress has got some great energy, and with Matt at the helm, you're in for a fantastic time! Just maybe stick to the specials, or ask Matt for his expert recommendations. Keep shining, Matt you're the real MVP!"

"I was staying at the Bertram inn and tried calling down to place an order for pickup. No answer from the restaurant twice. So I went down in person and was able to place an order with a server. I then sat and waited at the sushi bar for 30 minutes before finally asking where my food was and being told that it was ready and given to me. It wasn't busy by any means, I'm pretty sure they just forgot about me.I get back up to the room with my food and open it up only to find out that they completely forgot my son's hot dog order. So back down to the restaurant I go and I have to wait another 10 minutes for the hot dog.Finally, when we are all sitting down and eating the food, my wife and I both tried the spaghetti squash entree and it tasted like we were eating solidified white wine. I'm pretty sure it was supposed to have a white wine glaze on it or something like that, but this literally tasted like they just steeped the spaghetti squash in white wine and put it in our to-go box.The salmon was meh, the brussel sprouts were decent, the tempura asparagus was decent, and the hot dog was probably the best item that was ordered. The fries that came with the hot dog were bland and unseasoned.Even if you're in a bind while staying at that hotel, I would rather get snacks from the front desk than eat at that restaurant again. "I am a very understanding individual, and I’ve worked in the food industry with understaffing. But this was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. To start, my fish sandwich still had the skin on it so I gave it back but was offered nothing toreplace it. My wife’s $20+ chicken salad was romaine lettuce from the grocery store with a wad of chicken placed on top(uncut). I could’ve made this at home for $3. Another person had cold potatoes and broccoli. Some people got their dinners20-30 minutes before others and the first ones to eat were those who got the grilled cheese. Why in the world would you cookthat first when you know it’s the easiest thing to make? We as the guests ended up being the ones to fill everyone’s waterback up, otherwise I’d still be waiting to have it refilled. There was only one waitress to cover the bar, food, and it wasfor an 85th birthday party for around 20-25 people (we were the only ones there). If you couldn’t handle the party size, youshouldn’t have accepted to host; and that’s a management problem. Very disappointed in a place where they charge you an armand a leg to just eat there. This is the definition of ripping people off. You’re supposed to eat what you pay for and Iwould’ve rather gone down the street to McDonalds and paid them the prices I was being charged. It’s a shame such a niceplace doesn’t live up to the expectations of the pricing on their menu. I will never come back to this place and I hope othersthink twice before deciding to open their wallets and eat here."

"I had a fantastic experience at Ketch Grill Taps, where I enjoyed exceptional service, delectable food, and breathtaking views. The open-concept layout, complete with a terrace and open doors, does attract a few wandering flies. We experienced a 35-minute wait for a table despite the restaurant being only half full, which could be attributed to a staffing shortage. Fortunately, we found seats at the bar, and everything went smoothly from that point on. The only drawback is that parking is metered, but the meters do accept credit cards. The average cost per person is about $25, though it can easily increase to around $50 if you opt for drinks and appetizers."
