The Grille On Congress

Food was OK, but everyone in the party felt there was too much salt. Staff was attentive and all good delivered together for a party of 11.

The service was on par with a 5 star restaurant. Our food was very good. The only issue we had was the temperature in the restaurant. It was freezing and we had to rush through our meal.

The waitress that's served more than years was great. The shoestring French fries were cold as they usually are. The bacon cheeseburger was thick. Penne Costa with vodka sauce was delicious hot View menu

We had visited this restaurant before and didn’t find it particularly impressive. However, our friends really enjoyed it, so we decided to give it another try. The food and drinks were just average, although the biscuits were quite good. Overall, we probably won’t return.

Ordered prime rib which was fatty and chewy. Waitress told us Friday is usually prime rib night since we ordered Saturday it was leftover from day before. That's reason it was not fresh. Asked to speak to manager/owner and they refused to speak to us. Unacceptable and will never go back.

We were rushed.as soon as we sat down they wanted our drink orders and food choices which we said we wanted to linger over a drink.we ordered the calamari sautéed-the waitress said it would be a smaller portion than the breaded one-a jokefor $17.I was still eating my salad when they delivered the food.i will not be going back! The homemade biscuits served when you are seated are outstanding. My Cobb salad entree was light on shrimp but overall delicious. Others had chicken dinners or shrimp skewers and all were happy with their meals. Our server was friendly and attentive. The air conditioning was too cold for all 4 of us. No attempt was made to modify it when we asked the hostess or mentioned it to the server. Unfortunately it made us in a hurry to leave . Noise level was no problem and there was no loud music. We would go again.

We were a party of eight and felt rushed to place our orders. My wife and I shared a steak that was meant to be medium rare, but unfortunately, it was cooked well done. By the time the waitress was free to check on us, everyone else had already started their meals, so we ate what we could. The waitress spoke to the manager, but she never came over because she was too busy. I even went to the kitchen to find her, and while she agreed to remove the meal from our bill, I overheard her tell the waitress to "just get them out." As locals, we won't be returning to this restaurant.

Monday night vibes at The Grille on Congress who knew?!We walked in on a pretty packed Monday evening (kudos to you, folks, for bringing the energy! , and our server Matt welcomed us with a smile that could light up the whole restaurant! He was professional, attentive, and had a wicked sense of humor I mean, who else could make jokes about the weather and get us laughing?
