"The restaurant is located in a cool, old building with a unique dark ambiance. The waitress was excellent and the nigiri was outstanding. The krokkoro was crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, served with a delicious sweet and savory steak sauce. The yellowtail roll was good, but the smoked salmon was especially tasty. Overall, the service, food, and atmosphere all receive perfect ratings. The average price per person for dinner is between $30 and $50."

You have a chance to help build community and instead you are harassing people parking outside your lot. Disgusting!

The staff is friendly, and the food is excellent. We dined in for dinner and the price per person was $10–20. The food and atmosphere were both rated 4 out of 5. Recommended dishes include the California Roll, Roll, and Sashimi.

The host was extremely rude and seemed to be rushing us to leave. She kept altering the wait time and appeared annoyed that we were still in the restaurant. I will not be returning. Eventually, we decided to leave. If I could, I would give it a zero rating.

We LOVED this place. The food was excellent, service very good. My wife and I both had the Salmon Bento with California roll and Edamame which proved to be a tortuously and temptingly huge amount of food, but we gave it our best effort. One suggestion: add Japanese background music Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 View menu

Was a little worried when we arrived and it was pretty empty and there was no lunch menu. However we ended up being really pleased with the food, service and large portion sizes. It was very quiet inside if the owners could add some ambient music it would improve the atmosphere. Will visit again! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30

Got katsu chicken, portion was quiet large but, it was very very bland, but the sauce served on the side tasted like salt and only salt and not in a soy sauce good way. The vibe in the joint was pretty awkward and the main server just seemed annoyed that we were there. I really wanted it to be good, as a hole in the wall usually is, but this was a bust. "B and I were hungry on our return from a trip to a remote spot in the San Juan Islands. We were a little grubby and minutes away from grumpy. B found Il Granaio in a Google search, giving up hope of a good meal to help us feel better before the long drive back to Seattle. Finding the place was complicated by the signs on the building calling it The Grainery. You don’t have to know a ton of Italian to make the connection, but the mismatch made us wonder a bit. Parking was easy in the little lot. We were greeted at the door by someone dressed well enough to make us feel self conscious about our outdoorsy outfits. The fellow smiled and assured us that we were in the right place. He found a hostess for us who led us to a table near the door and dropped off a basket of garlicky bread. The menu featured a nice variety of Italian dishes, most of them featuring seafood. On the last page we found a nice selection of meals that include everything from soup to dessert. We both liked the look of a shrimp fettuccine dish. Our friendly waitress assured us that it was a good choice and scurried off to the kitchen to put in our order. She came back with bits of toast piled with diced tomatoes. Like most Italian dishes, the toast was simple but had a wonderful flavor. We gobbled up the treat. Next came the shrimp entree. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the creamy sauce was as good with the shrimp as it was when we dipped garlic bread in it. We finished up with panna cotta that had a nice raspberry sauce. As hungry as we were, the portions were up to it. I was perfectly full and we even had a bit leftover to take home. The bill was higher than I like for a place to stop on the way home, but it was not too high for a fancy place to take a date. There was heavy traffic most of the way home, but with the good food and good company, I was not too stressed."

"This is a not so hidden gem! The restaursnt is next to the main road that will take you to the tulip festival. The restaurant is huge. There is a bakery next to the restaurant that is worth checking out. The food is delicious. They know how to cook a medium rare burgers which is an anomaly these days. The service was ok. The server was friendly enough but i am not sure if she was new or just overwhelmed. The othere servers did not seem to be having issues with their tables. The steak sandwich special was yummy but there was barely any meat in it. The pieces that were there were tender and very well seasoned. The dessert was great! We had the one that takes 10 minutes to bake and it was amazing! The coffee was strong, just the way I like it. I would defently be back for more treats. Especially the bakery goods and a great coffee.
