"Las Palmas is a hidden gem. Although the menu is fairly limited compared to El Teresa's, the quality of the food more than makes up for it. The tacos are fantastic. I ordered tacos al pastor and the pork was delicious. The salsa was very good and a step above the usual nondescript red stuff restaurants usually have. It tasted very fresh and had a hint of cloves (I think). Really, everything seemed fresh. Very clean restaurant. Will definitely return."

We love Las Palmas. We've never tried anything we don't like. Their salsa and guacamole are the best in town, in my opinion.

honestly wasn't great. bad service, took forever for chips and salsa. my friend ordered a burrito and it came with no sauce or cheese sauce. looked gross. wasn't good. i would not recommend.

I don't mean to be rude but this was the worst food I've ever had. The salsa had allspice or nutmeg in it, the sour cream was runny, and the meat was very fatty and greasy. Everything was old, even the cilantro was wilted. View menu

Picture this: a lackluster Mexican restaurant without a liquor license situated right next to an excellent, budget-friendly Mexican spot. That's exactly what Las Palmas has done. The food was disappointing, and the music was quite annoying.

Very happy we chose to stop and try this place out! We have stopped at their Taco truck at the Augusta flea market previousLy and really liked their food andd prices. Same here. Food super fresh and affordable! Excellent guacamole and horchata!! Will dEfinitely be back!!

The food was excellent, but on the expensive side. It's not really suited for a casual lunch. I ended up sharing a dish with my sister because it was too costly for just one person. Still, I have to admit that the quality of the food was outstanding, even if it felt a bit pricey. View menu

I recently visited this restaurant for the first time, and I was quite impressed. The waitress was exceptional at her job. I ordered a burrito and some sopes gorditas, and when she asked what kind of meat I wanted, I told her to surprise me. Her recommendations were spot on; the food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. I will definitely be returning!

"Hands down the best food I've had in Augusta. In Augusta for work, and have been trying out various restaurants with the work crew. This place I is the first that had me saying I'm coming back. EVERYTHING was good! Seating is limited and there was a short (10min) then from there it's either buffet style or takeout option. We dined in, which gave me a chance to sample EVERYTHING. I started with the salmon in lemon sauce. Not overcooked and just delicious. This was my favorite. Seconds were had. Next up was the fried pork loin. Probably my least favorite protein but still good. I'm not much of a pork person and still enjoyed. Then the barbeque chicken. This..was..good. seasoned to the bone. For sides, there was some corn and lima beans and plain rice. After this, we had the beef gumbo. The gumbo truth be told was more a soup. For me gumbo needs to be a little thicker...heartier. Whatever you want to call it delicious. The beef was seasoned well, tender and the broth flavoured with okras. There was also a salad bar, and I just had a fresh salad. Typical salad toppings with some.black olives and jalapenos to spice it up a little. Not sure about the dressing, I did without. Then everything was topped off with the peach cobbler. I enjoyed this as well, probably because it was not overly sweet. But I know people are passionate about their cobbler, so opinions will very. All in all, I'm definitely going back and look forward to different daily dishes. We were told when leaving tomorrow (Friday) is fried chicken day."
