"an almost perfect culinary experience. we got a quiet table on the way under beautiful, high, old trees and felt that we had the place for ourselves, although it was busy relatiw. would never have known we were nested in an office park. I would take the menu southern fusion with wonderful creative takes classic dishes. we got the special small plate, brat pork with gochujang aubergine and marinated mushrooms - I love being thrilled by a surprising dish with perfectly balanced aromen - that I hope it makes to their regular menu. the grilled brussel sprouts were tender with fantastic, flaky, carburized outside. they were not drowned in the sauce and the light red chili aoli gave the correct amount of subtle accents without masking the taste of the sweet. I love lamb and wad between the order of the burger and the pizza, but went with the pizza because it is easier to share. we were not disappointed. we have three of their cocktails. I have two whisky-based drinks and my daughter got the wodka berry, and I am glad to report that the bartender is every bit the artist as chef. we have rounded the meal with the pot de crème, an intense chocolate mousse that have the right amount of sweet. we made us feel comfortable without being stuffed. highly recommended!"

So so good! I enjoyed some of the specials for the day including Mac n Cheese and some hush puppies. Beyond amazing service from the entire staff. Only in town for work, but I’ll be back again, 100%.

The restaurant has a strong farmhouse vibe, featuring a warm and cozy atmosphere along with plenty of outdoor seating. They offer an impressive selection of beers, a solid cocktail menu, and an excellent whiskey list. I give it five stars because the value is among the best in the area.

The special pizza of the day was beef short ribs, and it was nothing short of MAGNIFICENT! They offer eight beers on tap, and you can sample four with a flight of 5oz draughts. After that, you can try the remaining four. Each beer flight costs $12. I took photos of the beers on tap last night, and there wasn't a single disappointment among them! View menu

Delicious! I visit NC once a year or so and I love to eat. That being said, this place has a quality menu that is skillfully prepared. Had the lamb burger which i was able to substitute roasted Brussels instead of fries. I sat at the bar as per usual and the bartenders were friendly and ready to talk about the food, drinks, or whatever. I highly recommend making a stop here!

I made a fantastic discovery in Durham near Duke University. Without a doubt, it was the best Bloody Mary I’ve ever had. Everything was fresh and made that day, including the tomato base. It was superb. We ordered a smoked trout appetizer that came with fresh bread and assorted accompaniments, all of which were delicious. We also shared a beet salad that was more than enough for two. Highly recommended!

Found this little gem yesterday, when we were looking for a place to have dinner while in Durham for a quick trip. I'm so glad we decided to eat here! The food was so good, fresh and just looks good on the plate. I have never had a black bean burger, but the one I ordered was awesome! The sweet tea was delicious! I don't know who our server was but we was nice and very attentive. We will be coming back again and again. I definitely want to try an alcoholic beverage and dessert next time : View menu

Really outstanding, I don't have a single negative thing to say other than I didn't feel cool or trendy enough to eat here at times. The cocktails were fantastic (Old fashioned, and pink gin and tonic were my favorite. The traveling Broadway gets better as you drink it). I had the bone in pork chop special with orange maple glaze, potatoes, and asparagus. Wonderful. My son had an excellent Caesar salad. The tater tots appetizer and corn bread were A+. Also the peach bread pudding dessert was quite good. I would go again.

I arrived in Durham late on a Friday to celebrate a birthday and had been searching for a restaurant that lived up to its good reviews. I stumbled upon this place and was seated immediately, which I was grateful for since we had made a reservation. The server was very attentive, and our food came out quickly. They offered a wide variety of drinks, and I tried some of the specials made with fresh ingredients. I was thrilled with the meal, which included a sampler featuring mahi, broccoli, and the lamb burger. I honestly couldn't decide which dish was my favorite. I'm looking forward to trying more items on my next visit. Oh, and we even received a free birthday cake!
