"Whew! Is there something less than a star? This place is a disaster. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Honestly, this is my 2nd time here and on my 1st visit I promised myself, it was my last time but Alas! It was along the way. I've visited other locations and my experience has been wonderful. The women that work here are very rude and do not listen to you. It was not busy when I went in and I felt like they just wanted to get rid of me. They got my order wrong had to almost yell it at them. One rolled her eyes at me when asked if I could have my kolache warmed up. I wanted an iced coffee, which was charged and she just told me there was ice in soda machine and coffee. Was I supposed to make my own iced coffee? What a joke. They had a clearly labeled iced coffee menu but here I am. I got a hot coffee since I didn't want to make a scene but come on lady. Anyway, avoid this place. Good luck finding parking and make sure you're ready to be met with a rudeness for no reason and just outright wrong."

Called a week in advance to arrange our big order because a big group of us were visiting austin and really wanted to try these. They told us to just make the order the day we want on door dash. And then when we made order and they canceled it cuz they said they’re not prepared to handle an order of our size. We called them and tried find an alternative solution and they just hung up on us. Everyone was talking about it all week and so excited to try it, and we all are leaving austin now without trying Kolaches.

Typically, this restaurant is a laid-back, affordable spot. However, today I received the wrong order. Instead of the sausage, egg, and cheese I had requested, they gave me chorizo. I approached the person at the counter politely, understanding that mistakes can happen since I work in retail as well. Unfortunately, I was told that I had indeed ordered chorizo, and that it was fine. I decided to let it go, but I ended up throwing the meal away because I'm not a fan of chorizo. Went this morning for two breakfast kolaches which we wanted heated up, and two cherry kolaches. lady at counter heated ALL of them in one bag and somehow managed to pull a fast one and remove the 2nd (chorizo and egg) kolache from the bag before handing it to us. She just didn’t seem to listen well to customers. By the time we got to our destination and realized what was missing, it was too late to go back and claim the disappearing kolache. I double checked the amount i was charged (no receipt was offered but i had the menu prices), and yep she charged me for it. Between all that and the crazy parking situation, it’s just not worth returning.
