"It's definitely quantity over quality here. There's a huge selection of kolaches (and even a few breakfast tacos), but the staples (sausage, sausage cheese, sausage cheese jalapeño) were not good at all so I can't imagine the more complex and unique ones are any better. The sausage in all three is tiny, smaller than the thickness of a hot dog. The normal sausage one was all dough, and it was not moist dough, it's dry dough. The sausage cheese one was just like a liquidy thin layer of cheese? definitely didn't seem like melted cheddar, if it was it was very thin. And the sausage cheese jalapeño simply has jalapeño bits on the outside of the sausage with the cheese why isn't it a jalapeño sausage?? I will say the breakfast kolache I had (chubby) was pretty good, not dry or too doughy like the normal ones. and the included salsa added some freshness."

Kolaches were OK. It took like 4 attempts to explain to the guy behind the counter that I wanted a box for the 12 kolaches in my order... View menu

I ordered the Ranchero, and it was tasty, but the bottom of the bread was a bit soggy. A tip: ask them to heat it up; it definitely enhances the flavor!

I picked up some this morning around 9 am, and the staff mentioned they had warmed them up, but they were still cold and unpleasant. It's disappointing to say that I've had better kolaches from a gas station.

The customer service here is excellent. This place offers kolaches that are much more authentic to Czech-style than what most Texans are accustomed to. They have a wide range of flavors, both sweet and savory, making it definitely worth a visit. View menu

We absolutely love getting kolaches from this place! They’re always fresh and tasty. If they don't have enough for your order, you can just give them a call, and they'll make more for you. The service is fantastic, and the food is consistently great!

COVID review: we stopped here for a quick, easy breakfast (takeout) and were pleasantly surprised by how good the kolaches were. The bread is fluffy and soft, and the kolache filling is plentiful. We got the ranchero, jalapeño sausage cheese, chorizo potato egg and cheese, jalapeño popper, pizza, and a few sweet ones (blueberry cream cheese, strawberry cream cheese). All were delicious! We also got a pack of the day old kolaches which are half off (haven't tried them yet), and the iced coffees are fine as well and reasonably priced.

"I literally just made a review but I’m going to make another one because for whatever reason someone or somehow it got deleted. I used to be a regular at Bouldin and the service was always amazing but my last two visits have been by far horrible. The service has been so poor that I felt disgusted when leaving the restaurant. There are two girls that work there with light brown hair and blue eyes. Pretty sure one of their names is Rego. My boyfriend and I were served by her before and she seemed nothing but annoyed and couldn’t care less if we were in her section. Barley even interacted with us or asked how our meal was and just seemed disgusted by us, just being rude passive aggressive for no reason at all. I’m a server and I KNOW this isn’t how you treat your guests and the same thing happened tonight. She just seemed like she couldn’t care less if we were there and just seemed annoyed? I don’t mind paying the gratuity if I’m being treated decently but that wasn’t the case and I feel as though they feel like they think they can get away with behaving like mean girls just because there’s a gratuity. I have friends that dine here as well and they have had the same experience. I’m not one to write reviews but I feel this needs to come across a managers attention so they know who they are hiring and how they are treating customers. Really disgusted and disappointing and if this gets deleted again I’ll write another review or just call the store to speak to a manager. Disgusted by their behavior."
