"The brunch place to go this side of town ? coffee was piping hot, the eggs runny, toast buttered, grits yummy, sausage spiced, and ? the best part ? the home fries. What customers should know is the service is what makes this themed diner the place to go:the server is joyful and anticipated our needs (with refills, asking if the milkshake was for here or to go, asking aboutcondiments for the grits and the home fries). I watched the chef as she prepared easily five orders at once, hardly makinganyone wait at all. A tight crew made our brunch quite enjoyable. There were several food options for vegetarians (omelettes, eggs with toast, home fries, grits, salads). People with Celiac disease should be wary, since the food isn?t gluten free due tothe cross contamination on the grill. People with gluten intolerance however might be fine since there are dishes that don?tcontain gluten (non-gluten containing or free of gluten). Worth a trip if you?re able."

Solid place for some breakfast. Really clean on the inside and the service was fantastic. Had the breakfast platter with 2 eggs over medium and some ham. Very tasty and it came out really fast. The coffee was good too. Great place for a simple breakfast. I really liked the home fries.

The food was good, the atmosphere was very welcoming and nostalgic and the restaurant and bathrooms were very clean. My ONLY problem was that the juke box on the table was out of order and took our money. Staff should put clear tape over the coin slotsso customers don 't lose money while still protecting the look ' of nostalgia. View menu

Great service and a friendly atmosphere! They serve breakfast all day. I tried the Bopper Burger, which was hand-pattied and had a perfectly toasted bun—it was delicious! My kids enjoyed pancakes with chocolate chips and finished every bite. The music and decor really capture a full 50s vibe. We'll definitely bring our out-of-town friends here!

I absolutely adore this diner! I was a regular customer long before it changed ownership, but I love it even more now. The food is fantastic! The mom usually runs the grill, and her daughters, along with the other wonderful waitstaff, create such a welcoming atmosphere. It's clear that many customers are regulars, as they are greeted warmly—some even by name, which is such a nice touch. This diner has a great vibe that makes you feel right at home. They even convinced me to try a tuna melt for the first time, and now it's one of my favorites! View menu

Classic Diner Delight. After several visits, I can confidently say that I absolutely love Lost in the 50's. The staff is warm and welcoming, the food is consistently good, and I’m a big fan of the decor. The pancakes, waffles, and French toast are all delicious and straightforward, and whenever I bring friends, they are never disappointed with their eggs, hash browns, or meat. It’s a charming little spot, one of the few reasonably-priced restaurants in Baltimore that doesn’t try to be anything more than what it is—a simple, local diner in Hamilton. I give it 5 stars!

Lovely lovely diner. I was a frequent customer YEARS before the new ownership. I love it even more now.???? The food is so good! Mom typically is on the grill and her daughters (family) along with other waitstaff who are ALL wonderful are very welcoming. Ican tell there are regulars who frequent. They are always greeted warmly, and some by name...so cool. ????This diner has goodvibes. Makes you feel warm. They even got me to try a tuna melt for the first time. Now its my fave.???? The prices areappropriate and appreciated especially when EVERYTHING is outrageously overpriced nowadays. I go on my days off when I can, sitat the window and enjoy my day off.?I will become frequent as well.

"Highly recommend Sweet Peaz Southern Kitchen! The food is served fresh and hot. We were a party of eight and ordered Fried Whiting with Yams and Mac n Cheese, Chicken and Waffles, Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, French Fries, and Collard Greens. The Sweet Potato Waffles were absolutely delicious! The fried chicken, shrimp, and fish were cooked perfectly and tasted as good as they looked. The seasoning was just right—not too salty, allowing the flavors to shine. The yams and collards were a real treat for the taste buds. And the cornbread? Simply amazing. My only disappointment was that the first taste was free (haha). The Mac n Cheese was decent, but the Chicken Tenders didn’t quite live up to their name; however, they did remake them for us to take home. The space is small and simple, with old-school music that adds to the enjoyable dining experience. They limit dining to one hour to ensure everyone can enjoy the food, which I appreciate—I dislike when people linger for too long when others are waiting. The staff were friendly, making us feel valued and appreciated. Prices are reasonable. One downside was that many items were unavailable, including grits—which was a big letdown since I was looking forward to the famous Shrimp and Grits—as well as butter, potato salad, seafood salad, and tartar sauce. I recommend calling ahead if you’re craving a specific dish. Despite this, it was a great dining choice and lived up to the positive reviews. Overall, we left satisfied and would gladly return. Parking is street parking only, as there’s no dedicated lot."
