"Love, love, LOVE this place. Since I moved from California over 4 years ago, I had not found a KBBQ place I liked in Houston, until i found this place. My husband and I came here and loved everything we got. It was A LOT of food, so be careful with that. One combo was probably enough for both of us since it came with around 6 vegetable side dishes, a pancake, and a large salad. We also ordered the fried rice, which was a very large portion and absolutely delicious. I think it's my favorite fried rice ever. For vegetarians, they had a whole page of clearly-marked vegetarian options "

The food was excellent and the service was outstanding as well. If you decide to order an appetizer, I highly recommend the Royal Toppoki; it was one of my favorites. I will definitely be returning!

Incredible experience! As a first-time customer, I'll definitely be back. We sought out a local restaurant with delicious food, and that's precisely what we found. The inviting atmosphere made it feel like a home-cooked meal at a friend's place. The service was excellent and the meat quality is better than any AYCE kbbq we’ve been to. View menu

I don't know where to begin with this place. One word: amazing! Wow! The marinated meats are delicious, especially when grilled on the main pit they have at every table for you to grill yourself. The variety of sauces and sides that come with the meal are delightful. And to top it all off, their sweet cinnamon tea is the best way to end the meal. 5 stars all around!

I liked this place! I tried the royal tteokbokki and it was awesome. Definitely one of the best I’ve tried. Also tried the doenjang jjigae and same, it was delicious. For vegetarian folks, there is a menu dedicated to you! Otherwise, I can’t complain. The side dishes were all fantastic and yummy. The owner was really nice and very friendly. I would absolutely come back.

The food here is absolutely delicious! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They offer four different types of aperitifs at the table before your meal arrives. Afterward, they serve a lovely cinnamon tea with ice. I would highly recommend this place and definitely plan to come back—it's a perfect ten! Just one thing, I'm not quite sure I understand the art on the wall, haha! View menu

Great place for yummy food and amazing service! We had initially planned to eat at another restaurant nearby, but they were unexpectedly closed. After consulting the internet, we ended up at Lucky Palace, and I’m so glad we did. All of the dishes we had were delicious, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend a visit here for Korean bbq and above-and-beyond service!

I didn’t dine in. I ordered to go and I wasn’t disappointed.I ordered the Samgyetang and Gamjatang and both are so good! You get your banchan (kimchi, fish cakes, potatoes, zucchini, etc) with the meal as well as rice. It was a lot food, but so delicious. I normally buy the ready made frozen Samgyetang from H-Mart, but this one was definitely by far the best. I hate it’s so far, but will be going back. Everything was so delicious!

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
