"We were renting a condo at Maggie Valley Resort Club so we decided to eat in their club 's Pin High Grille restaurant. When we arrived to check in with the host, the restaurant was practically empty and getting ready to close in 15 minutes. They were not aware that we had a reservation and had no idea we were coming. Sooooo, what 's the point of making a reservation? There is a real disconnect between their restaurant and Open Table that needs to be addressed. Also, I never would have made a reservation 15 minutes before closing. I just thought they were fully booked for the evening and a 4:45 table was all that was available to us. Having said all this, I will say the restaurant was apologetic and accommodating in getting our dinner order, did not make us feel rushed to eat and run , and the food was pretty good."

Very nice Clubhouse restaurant great golf course and gorgeous mountain views. Nice assortment of entrees from appetizers to desserts, outstanding service from all staff.

It's a lovely venue. Initially, they seated us near the bar, where the music was loud and there were TVs showing football, making it quite noisy. We requested to be moved farther from the bar, and that made a big difference. Our waitress was fantastic.

Had an early lunch for two at the Pin High grille with the Octoberfest day menu. We shared the German Pretzel appetizer (two long pretzel logs) with special spicy mustard and continued to the Pork Schnitzel entree (two large breaded pork cutlets) over a sauce and served with German Potato wedges, outstanding dish shared by two adults. Great service from Krista who had the schnitzel come out temperature hot! View menu

From the moment we arrived, everything was fantastic. We chose to sit outside on the veranda and began our meal with some exceptional drinks. Next, we enjoyed a chopped salad that was wonderfully crisp and fresh. For our main courses, we had the ribeye and the short rib butternut squash risotto, both of which were absolutely delicious. Our server, Taylor, was outstanding—very attentive and truly enhanced our dining experience!

First, our waitress, Taylor, was outstanding! She was so warm and friendly and was quick with any of our requests! Second, even though the bar doesn’t serve sangria on a daily basis, the sweet bartender made my husband sangria and he said it was delicious. The chef sent out delicious corn bread muffins for the table even though we didn’t order them! Everyone enjoyed their entrees! It was a great evening and we will definitely be back.
