"We love this place and come weekly. We tend to be early birds so as to get a table, sometimes it is busy later on (and rightly so). If we can’t eat in we will do pickup. It is just a pleasure to feel known by the kind and friendly staff and owner, and the pizza is wonderful. I’m also a fan of the cheesecake and fresh made Italian sodas. As a non alcohol drinker it is a real treat to have something that nice. They have a dedicated gluten free oven available and I believe make their own GF crust, which is amazing. I don't feel the need to promote this restaurant since it's already doing so well. I've dined here several times, and each time I was part of a large group, but they always accommodated us without any issues. As for the food? Wow! I've tried so many different pizzas and pasta dishes, and they were all so delicious that I kept thinking about what I would order on my next visit. This place definitely deserves an A+, and I genuinely hope it remains a favorite for many years to come.

Maggie's serves amazing pizzas, and we’re also big fans of their farm salad. However, tonight we stumbled upon their incredible desserts, which were truly out of this world! The cheesecake had a perfect soft, creamy texture, complemented by a delicious raspberry sauce. And the warm lava cake topped with vanilla gelato and salted caramel sauce was absolutely divine—easily the best dessert I've had this year! I’ll be thinking about it until I can enjoy it again! The only downside was that I ordered an espresso, but the bar mistakenly made me a regular coffee. I was really looking forward to that rich, bitter brew with crema, but instead received a simple cup of black coffee. Our server mentioned that she and the bar staff were not very familiar with coffee drinks, but she was so pleasant and a wonderful host that I didn't mind too much. Although it was slightly noisy, it wasn't bothersome. So far, this is my favorite restaurant in Iowa City, and I've been to a lot of them. It’s not fancy, but it's comfortable and nice! This restaurant is fantastic—one of my favorite places in town. The food is consistently excellent every time I visit. The staff is attentive and helpful, and the meals are served quickly, always fresh and delicious, with something for everyone. I choose this spot when I'm craving a good meal because they never disappoint. I think I've tried nearly everything on the menu, and some of my top picks include the Melrose Grand salad, the white lasagna, and, of course, the pizza. If you have space for dessert, definitely try the affogato. The dining area is lovely, though it is a bit dimly lit, which adds to the ambiance. It might be a consideration for those over 50.
