"While traveling through Texas we stopped by this restaurant to grab dinner. We were pleasantly surprised to find this delicious hole in a wall in Waco serving Caribbean cuisine. We ordered the Coco bread, Jamaican beef patty, oxtails, curry goat, the sweet potato cake for dessert and the pineapple ginger drink. My kids scarfed the food down so fast as if I hadn?t fed them in a week! It was that good. Our order taker/waiter was super kind and very attentive, stopping by frequently to check on us and make sure that we were really enjoying our food. When he saw how much we were enjoying our food he was excited for us to try other things and gave us a cup of their sorrel drink. Everything we ate was so delicious and the oxtails were our family?s favorite thing that we ordered. The vegetables on the side were so simple yet delicious even my son who doesn?t like vegetables said he liked them. If we lived closer we would totally make this one of our staple restaurants."

"Omg I don?t know where to Start! This is far the BEST and MOST friendly BBQ place I?ve been too. My entire experience was excellent. My family and I were greeted with a friendly smile from the waitress to the cook! The smoked Mac and cheese, cabbage, greens was the best I?ve ever tasted. Don?t get me started on the sweet potato casserole! It melted in my mouth with a nice crunch on top! Everything was on point! I have no room to complain at all! Just expand this business to temple ????. But I don?t want to gain any weight back ????. We will definitely be back to visit."

"The mural on the side of the restaurant caught my eye and gave me a sense of deja vu that I'd been here before. I honestly can't remember, but I'm definitely coming back. We had two waitresses because the first one left, but both were very attentive and friendly. Since this is Texas, I opted for the chicken fried chicken, but did so with reluctance. Fortunately it wasn't nearly as big or as filling as I anticipated. I mean that in a good way because I was reluctant to order a heavy meal. It was very good and came with two sides. The broccoli rice casserole was great, but the mac and cheese was a little dry and somewhat lacking. Our second waitress brought us extra drinks in to go cups. Will eat here again on my next trip to Waco."

"Very good food, great ambience and friendly staff. We had the delicious menudo, on a Thursday, that's not from everyone where. The rice and beans in the combined plate were perfectly cooked. The children enjoyed a beautiful Mexican shrimp cocktail. Tasteful Mexican music played in the background on a beautiful volume. All staff were very friendly and gave great customer service. The whole restaurant, including toilet, was excellent and clean. Will definitely be back and recommend you stop."
