The staff were friendly, and the food was decent. However, the chicken in the wraps was a bit chewy, and the mashed potatoes were quite peppery. The homemade fries were rather dry, but the regular fries were enjoyable, especially when topped with cheese and bacon.

This was my husband and my first visit to this restaurant. You can choose to sit indoors or outside on the terrace. We opted to sit inside since it was a bit cooler. He ordered the steak while I had a pound of chicken wings with fries. Both dishes were very good! He really enjoyed himself.

If I could give this place negative stars, I definitely would. It's so awful that I wouldn't even feed my dog the food. When I ordered the chicken broccoli Alfredo, there was no chicken in it! The taste was terrible and so greasy that it made me feel sick. The fries that came with my friend's sandwich were also greasy and undercooked. I won't be going back, and I can't recommend this restaurant at all.

The bathroom facilities were also lacking; there were five paper towel dispensers, but only one was working properly. Our waitress was friendly, but her serving technique was concerning—she often carried dishes next to or even on her chest, which didn’t seem appropriate. To top it off, the fish was served lukewarm. Overall, I was really looking forward to our meal, but this experience left me feeling quite disappointed.

Whenever I visit New York, I always make a point to savor the local cuisine. I have a particular fondness for small, independent restaurants like this one. The portions here are generous and authentic, rather than dictated by corporate standards. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly. During our cross-country journey from California to Vermont, we discovered the Mapleview Family Restaurant, and we couldn't have been happier. The food was exceptional, and our waitress was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. Not only did she give us directions, but she also had the most warm and welcoming personality. Despite handling the entire dining area by herself, she managed everything with grace and efficiency. I want to take a moment to acknowledge all waitresses nationwide for their hard work, with a special mention to the amazing waitress at Mapleview Family Restaurant.

Whenever I pass through New York, I make it a point to stop by this restaurant because the food is simply the best. I really appreciate small, independent establishments like this one. When you order, the portions are generous, unlike some places that skimp on servings. The atmosphere is relaxed, with down-to-earth, kind, and friendly staff. If you are travelling up or down I-81 and need a little or a large snack, this is the place to stop. It's the exit for Mexico, (New York). This is mainly a truck stop. The true American old school style truck stop. Diesel, gas, lotto, smokes, gear, snacks like pizza, and an independent family style restaurant. This no frills food frenzy is a Trucker's suppertime dream. Michelle (a server with a sense of humor, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu) will be sure to care for you. There is a front door and a back door, but no thruway from the store to the restaurant, so don't park close to any door expecting to travel through the building when it's raining poodles outside.
