"We went for breakfast and were told we would have a 5 to 10 minute wait. However, we ended up waiting 20 minutes to be seated, during which time five different families finished their meals and left. Once we were finally seated, the hostess brought us water and coffee, assuring us that a waitress would be with us shortly. After waiting 7 minutes without a visit from anyone, we noticed that other tables seated after us were already placing their food orders. I approached the hostess to ask if we even had a waitress since we hadn’t been attended to while others were being served. She promised to check on it. By that point, we had been waiting for a total of 35 minutes just to have breakfast, so we decided to leave. The restaurant was only half full, indicating they need more staff and improved service."

Ordered soup and cornbread but when I got home, I had garlic bread. No one told me that my cornbread was substituted. I had to find out when I got home.

I just ordered cakes. One was cheesecake and the other pancake. I think both were not good. The cheesecake was frozen and the pancake was really thick and had not enough pecans. The service was good, but the atmosphere was like in Goodfells or Godfathers. Feeling the old New York bar. View menu

I recently ordered two pies: cheesecake and pecan pie. Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy either of them. The cheesecake was frozen, while the pecan pie was overly thick and lacked enough pecans. The service was good, but the atmosphere felt reminiscent of a classic New York bar, like something out of "Goodfellas" or "The Godfather."

Maria Callender's is one of the most underrated restaurants in the AV. Staff is so nice and food is consistent and great! The Shepherd's Pie was awesome with the mashed potato on top and the Beef Stroganoff is so tasty and the steak in it has perfect, slightly red wine taste, so tender! Perfect everytime, I've had it at least 5 times in the last 3 months! Love this place!

That's hard. We ate Thanksgiving dinner here. The turkeys and potatoes were great, but the other articles were pretty bland and tasteless. We ordered a piece of apple cake, but the waitress brought us pancakes. But we loved it! It was so good, we stopped and bought two different cakes when we were gone. Unfortunately, after we arrived home, we realized that the cakes were not almost as good as what was served in the restaurant. I've loved Marie Calendar's cake for years, even last year, but not this time... View menu

Seven of us eat at 5:00. The restaurant was practically empty, maybe two other tables. It took over 30 minutes to move tables together to record us. Water was brought and we were ignored for another 20 minutes. Still the same people in the store. After all, she took our orders, but did not refresh drinks. Food finally got us.hot and good. The attempt to go container was another waiting to get the cakes that were bought to go was crazy and a cake that supposed to be chocolate cream was wondering cherry when it came home. It was good after eight when we came home. It was a mixed bag, so take your chances.

It was well after 8 when we got home. It was a mixed bag so take your chances.

"The only reason this restaurant, if that’s what they call themselves, gets a star is because they have a decent wine list at a reasonable price. Otherwise, our experience tonight was absolutely miserable. A group of healthcare professionals booked a table to celebrate a milestone achievement for one of the programs at the nearby hospital. We ordered two bottles of quite expensive wine worth about $500. Never mind that they didn’t have our first choice; it happens. Then, after quite a long wait, the appetizers came. I have never seen a bruschetta served as pieces of cheap, mushy bread toast separate from the toppings, which came in a salad bowl. It was pretty much a “make your own bruschetta,” and it tasted disgusting. The olives and cheese plate were tasteless. We shrugged it off and ordered the main entrees. Five of us ordered the same main course. After at least 20 more minutes, the waitress returned to inform us that “unfortunately, the dish we had ordered is not available.” By that time, one of us, who had ordered an appetizer as an entree, left without being served because she got tired of waiting. We were quite shocked by the casual, nonchalant attitude, but as we were very hungry, we went with alternative choices, all of which arrived overcooked. Another waiter bringing the dishes had no idea who was ordering what and just threw the plates on the table. Worst of all, there was zero remorse or apology from the staff or the manager, and of course, the check had arrived in full, including the 18% “big party tip.” I won’t even go into minor details, such as the absolutely horrendous French onion soup, forgetting sugar, water, and wine glasses, etc. I don’t know if this establishment has management (no one came to talk to us), but if so, you should be ashamed of how you treated us tonight. Your staff’s attitude was ridiculous, and they obviously take no pride whatsoever in what they do. We paid in full and left. If any of you guys happen to be at the nearby hospital (God forbid), please do come see us. We will teach you what “taking good care of people” is all about, from A to Z. Shame on you for ruining our evening."
