We were there for pizza on last Friday can you tell me did they change the pizza crust it was our favorite pizza loved the thin crust now we got our pizza and it was like a frozen crust much thicker please go back to the crispy like cracker crust Did someone else take over the place View menu

Absolutely no complaints about the food and it was absolutely delicious (likely some of the best food I personally have had in that area, but we waited in excess of 1 hour to get our food, including any of our appetizers. Our waitress was sympathetic to the situation, but we had members in our party that needed to eat by a certain time. Had we known the wait was going to be as long as it was, we would have gone elsewhere. Note: Two of the meals were for grilled cheese. In short, we won't be returning.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The food was subpar. The onions in the soup were still raw, and this was the case for three people who ordered it. Instead of pizza sauce, the pizza was topped with ketchup. The chicken parmesan was served frozen, and the pasta was cold. It seemed like the kitchen staff lacked basic cooking skills, even when it came to using a microwave. The service was equally frustrating; we had to remind the waitress twice that there weren't enough utensils for our table. This place needs to hire new staff or consider closing its doors entirely. Growing up in a nearby town, we frequented Mattucci's a lot over the years. We could always count on the consistency; the service was always great and the food even better. Clearly things have changed though. The newly remodeled bar and dining are nice enough I suppose, but the bar area as we all knew it has lost all of the charm it once possessed. Two in my party ordered a cosmo, and the bartender or whomever mixed them, didn't know how to make them. The old bartender, whose name escapes me, is no longer there apparently. I was disappointed to say the least. I 've been familiar with the name my whole life, so I must have put them in a higher class based on the opinions of others. I had ordered two of their Chicken Cordon Bleu meals, which have no special accompanyingdescription to tell you that it is not the cordon bleu you ate and are picturing in your head right now. So you could imagine myconfusion when I opened the box to find chicken parmesan with a piece of prosciutto(? tossed between one of the pieces ofchicken. Today, when I went to Metucci's, it was to celebrate a personal accomplishment. I first went there in 1978, and I've been there a number of times since. Forget Olive Garden. This is the real deal. It's like stepping back into time and experiencing whatit's like to eat in the dining room of an old Italian home. It's very relaxing. Very comforting. I've always had greatservice here.
