"I went with a group of four. We split a rib that each has a sandwich side. The ribs were smoked dry. So delicate and tasty. I have a fat brisket sandwich and it was divine! Super juicy tasteful. They have sauces on the table, but this sandwich didn't need a sauce. My friend got the train with pulled pork instead of Brisket. We shared half of our sandwiches bc we love good food each other. The other two in our party pulled chicken sandwiches. My son, who is a picky eater, ate his whole sandwich most of a quarter of Mac N cheese. I didn't taste the Mac N cheese, but he loved it. It looked really creamy smells so good. Next time, I'd like to try. I also want to try the potato salad. We had the beans I've ever had. They had great pieces of magerbrise in them. We also had a quarter of Cole Slav. It was really good. And I take my mother-in-law seriously. It was crunchy wet heavenly. We also had a kind of tacos on the daily menu they were delectable. We had many left overs, but we really wanted to try a little bit of everything. I will definitely come back. They also have a spacious side terrace that would be great for beautiful weather. I really enjoyed the live music. Service was great. Good crowd. I support family businesses."

We went on Friday for the first time and ordered take out. We had the tipsy Texan sandwich, pulled pork, brisket, Mac and cheese, beans, chicken and the jalapeño sausages. They were all fantastic. We try bbq everywhere we go! This was some of the best!

The barbecue here is quite impressive! I sampled the brisket, pulled pork, and pulled chicken, and all three surpassed my expectations. The restaurant has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere and the staff is very friendly, which made for a great dining experience. I left with a satisfied stomach and some leftovers, all at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this place! View menu

Huge shout out to Dave who worked with us to cater a teacher appreciation dinner. He was helpful every step of the way and really went above and beyond. The food was outstanding. Everyone was raving about it. We had pulled pork and sliced brisket sandwiches with Mac and cheese and Cole slaw. Everything was great. If you haven’t eaten here yet try it out!!!!! Absolutely wonderful!!!!!

We visited Maverick yesterday and were extremely pleased with both the service and the food. While I'm a fan of Mission BBQ, I never enjoyed their cornbread or jalapeno cheddar sausages until I tried them here—I absolutely loved both! We also had pulled pork, brisket, ribs, and beans with brisket. My only suggestion would be to improve the coleslaw; I've always found it to be a bit hit or miss. I can't recall our server's name, but he was very attentive and made sure we had a great experience. Thank you for a wonderful dinner; we'll definitely be returning as regulars!

The first time here tonight. What a treat! First the customer service was excellent! Quick and friendly!! Second, the food from this world was! Third, super affordable! Oh, and the portion sizes? Holy cow! The amount of treat you get for the price? Incredible!!! The woman and I had Ribs, Cole Slaw, Mac Cheese and Maisbrot! Everything was absolutely amazing! Genuinely could not believe how good everything was! Then to dessert the wife Cobbler and I had the banana pudding....OMG... REVENUE!!! Very recommended! We are coming back!!! If you haven't been here yet, do a favor and stop. You will not be disappointed!! View menu

We finally got around to checking this place out. Normally, we will order a bunch of different items from the menu and sample a wide array of food to figure out if a restaurant is worth a return or not. I can say without a doubt that Maverick Texas BBQ is ABSOLUTELY worth a return. The Carnitas Tacos were flavorful accompanied by a delightful, unique slaw. The baked beans and Mac n Cheese were perfect. However the two stars of the show were the Brisket Bahn Mi and the Tipsy Texan sandwiches. The meats were lean, but tender. The bread wasn't soggy and the toppings were all fresh. Jordan (our waiter) was super attentive and a joy to chat with. I can't wait for a liquor licence to come in and a...

I have not one single complaint. This was the BEST BBQ we have ever had and we eat ALOT of BBQ. We recently visited a diners, drive in and dives BBQ spot in GA... their food had NOTHING on this food. We tried almost everything the menu.... the only thing I wasn't a huge fan of, was the Mac cheese...everything else was amazing. We had brisket, ribs, jalapeno cheddar sausage, corn bread, prime rib, baked beans, mac n cheese. Cole slaw, potato salad, gumbo, carnitas, and a Bahn Mi sandwich! I promise you if you go here, you will not regret it. I gave all my compliments to the chef, he could not have done it ANY better. We plan to make this a weekend stop and may be back tomorrow! Thank you SO m...

"What I know about Haitian food could fit the top of a pin, but if Zeke 's is a fair representation, I now know that it must be flavorful. The djon djon bowl was the crowning glory of our order, and it deserves all the hype it gets here on Yelp. I was curious about what 'djon djon ' was, and when we asked our server, she explained it was their version of a traditional black rice made with beans or mushrooms. Whatever was in it, it was the most delicious bed for the charred plantains, grilled shrimp, and toppings. It can also be ordered with jerk chicken, salmon, or avocado all of which I 'm looking forward to trying on return visits. The menu describes the accompanying aioli as 'epic, ' which is entirely correct. It reminded me of a slightly spicier version of the white sauce that comes with Halal food, and it brought the whole bowl together beautifully. My husband ordered a jerk chicken salad, which he praised as fresh and tasty . We were a little less enthusiastic about the salmon dip, which sounded delicious on the menu but turned out to be a little saltier than I would 've preferred. What rounded up our love for Zeke 's was the service. Our water glasses were constantly refilled, food was bussed out with efficiency, and our servers couldn 't be kinder or more welcoming. The interior is surprisingly nice (in fact, as we walked in, my husband wondered aloud if this was too fancy a place for our athleisure outfits), but I agree with one reviewer about the music being a tad loud. Luckily, here are a few outdoor tables available for those who might feel similarly."
