"I've tried and loved a few things off of Maxi's menu but was disappointed this morning with the breakfast burrito. It was advertised as having chorizo, but it tasted more like kielbasa or hot dog? This is the only thing I've ever disliked from Maxi's. My girlfriend got the stuffed French toast and loved it. I have tried several of their lunch items and loved them. But kielbasa does not substitute well when expecting spicy crumbles of chorizo! Parking: The parking lot is pretty small, but there are several other lots adjacent if you're picking up and not dining in"

We have been to Maxi’s a few times now and every time it’s been delicious! The Denver omelette and spinach scramble are amazing. The service is great, always very friendly and attentive even when they are very busy. We love this place for breakfast! View menu

Took forever to have our drink and food order taken. They were out of gravy at breakfast time so biscuits and gravy were not an option for me(or anyone else). French toast was sub-par at best. Waitress never came to see if we needed refills. Very unorganized place.

I really wanted to like this a lot more. It’s got that small town feel that I love, but the food didn’t follow through. The service and hospitality were on point, that’s for sure! And I did love that they had a full bar. But my omelette fell short of my expectations. Hubs really loved the maple syrup and eggs, though he wasn’t huge on his hash. A bit surprised by prices based on our breakfast the day before $48 for two people with zero alcohol lol). Anyway, it was good enough.

"This is mostly a review on a new flavor that Ben and Jerry’s released. So recently Ben and Jerry’s discontinued my favorite flavor “Chocolate Peanut Buttery Swirl” and I was absolutely devastated!!! I ate that one for years!! However, their new flavor Chocolate Peanut Butter Split is a PERFECT combination of Chocolate, Peanut butter and banana. This is my new favorite flavor and I know this came out as an Exclusive flavor it won’t be available for long so I’ve been stocking up, but all I have to say is it’s AMAZING and Ben and Jerry’s need to seriously consider making this a permanent flavor. I never thought I’d get over the discontinuation of Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl until THIS flavor came out!!! Ben and Jerry you’ve outdone yourself. PLEASE KEEP CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER SPLIT PERMANENTLY!! Please and thank you About the Factory: my family has a timeshare in Vermont and every summer since I was a kid we visit the Ben and Jerry’s factory in Waterbury and we have always enjoyed the tours with the best samples of new flavors they come out with. Due to COVID and I believe recent construction their tours haven’t been running for a while so I wasn’t able to take it when I was there the past couple summers, but visiting the Ben and Jerry’s factory has always been a big part of my childhood and my family and I always make sure we stop by every year for a treat together. We even had the great opportunity to meet Jerry one time at the factory during one of our visits! Will always be a big Ben and Jerry’s fan ?"

"I've been wanting to go to Michael's for a while now, so on my way to CT, I decided to make a pit stop and ask for a few plates in take-out. First and foremost, the order was ready on time, which was awesome! However, there was no cutlery included, even though I had specified that we were not locals. Too bad. We ended up using the chopsticks my mum kept in the glove compartment. Fun! Second, the price. Ouch, especially for my Canadian wallet. For some reason, I misunderstood that there was a 15% fee because it was take-out. I saw it on their website but I thought it was a 15% discount instead. lol. My brain! I do get that it's fine dining though. I just think $90 for three appetizers and two beers is a bit steep. Then again, maybe that's just me! However, if money isn't a problem for you, go ahead and order away! The calamari was beautifully cooked but came with only a few pieces. The panzanella salad was good, but the burrata was disappointing—the stracciatella was quite firm. I prefer it soft and creamy like a runny egg. Maybe it's just me! The vegetable frites were the best part, though they weren’t piping hot, which I expected since it was take-out so no problem there! Overall, it was a very good meal. The staff was nice and helpful. I’m still curious to try dining in, as I believe the experience would likely be better on-site."
