"Anniversary dinner with our two children, 8 and 10. We decided to sit out on the porch on a fairly humid June evening and the ceiling fans made for a nice breeze. We find most of the restaurants are overly air-conditioned, but Metro 8 didn't seem like a fridge even when we came in - that's a big plus for me! Our waitress was very nice and attentive without interfering. She noted that it was nice to see kids with books (and math in our conversation) instead of iPads. The steaks my husband and I ordered were as stated and delicious. So were the pages. Our girls loved their grilled chicken. Cocktails were good and just the right strength. Highly recommended."

Following my son's graduation, a party of 13 of us enjoyed a celebratory dinner at this restaurant. Due to the hot weather, Cassie arranged for us to dine in the private dining room instead of on the terrace. After reading online reviews, we decided to have a last-minute business lunch at this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious dishes, from the provolenta and stuffed prawn starters to the tasty fillet and the spread for the rolls. The owner, who was behind the bar, was very accommodating. I will definitely return on my next trip to the area.

Metro 8 is a great option at all times, but also more so during restaurant week. 3-course meal with a steak starter for $ 30! The 16 ounce churrasco steak is amazing and an incredible offering. My favorite dessert is dulce de leche crepes ... I like them just as much as the steak - I understand that they are probably a labor-intensive undertaking for the restaurant week, but I was disappointed that they were removed from the restaurant week menu and I couldn't . t submit it for a charge. So, I probably won't go on weekly trips to the restaurant, but I'll keep coming back to the regular menu.
