"The good reviews attracted me to this place, once there I was greeted by a lot of flies. Flies everywhere, the windows had fly traps with a lot of dead flies on them. It was pretty gross, food was ehh it took forever to arrive even though there was only three ppl including myself. I asked about the “beef burrito” and it comes with ground beef, who does that? The only good thing was the chips and salsa, other than that I wouldn’t come again. Service: Dine in"

"Met a friend who was traveling along the 40 for lunch. Shorty’s is easy to get to and has ample space near by for RV parking. Features indoor and outdoor seating. You order at the front counter and then sit down to eat your food and they bring it out to you when it’s ready. They have BBQ, Sandwiches, Broasted “Fried Chicken”, Spaghetti, Pizza, Wings and more. I was a little overwhelmed by the menu because there were so many tasty choices, I ended up getting the Broasted Chicken and it was great! Sierra was our cashier and server and she was so helpful and pleasant. I felt like I had so many questions since it was my first time there and she was so friendly and answered all my questions. If you are traveling on Hwy 40 and would like some good eats- check out Shorty’s!"

"This was a truck stop we stopped at because we were starving. The service was great. The waitress was very nice and accommodating. The food was pretty good. The people were huge. My son and I split a breakfast plate that had 5 pancakes. My other son had breakfast also. We both enjoyed it. My husband had the buffalo Mac. He said it was decent. This is a good place to stop if you want home coming with large portions."
