"Mee Sum has some of the best Asian pastries we've ever had! Their BBQ pork buns and curry beef buns are must-haves, they have a nice crispy and flaky exterior and are packed with generous portions of delicious filling inside. Tried their shu mai this time and it was delicious. You can tell they use high quality meats and everything is made fresh. The bolobao is also really good! Highly recommended, it's worth the wait and the line always moves quickly."

The place to go if you're a dim sum fan!! The crab ragoons were creamy and huge! The shrimp shumai were a good sized portion and they were so juicy, you didn't need a dill sauce! You can see them preparing the dim sum so you know it's fresh and not frozen!

No pics. Ate almost everything up even before we left the parking garage. We always get the curry beef and bbq pork hum bao. Inexpensive and generous sized fillings. We also got a read bean cake and red bean sesame ball to share and they worth it. Love this place.Went back another time and this time remembered pics, kinda… View menu

I heard about this bakery from YouTube, so I decided to try it out and was delighted by the experience. I had the BBQ Pork Hum bao. The housmade bread was (naturally) sweet and well-textured, and coupled with the pork created a blend of sweet and savory. At $5.50, it was a treasure! I would definitely go back, thank you for your business!

When near Seattle we never miss an opportunity to stop by Mee Sum Pastry. There is always a bit of a line but it always moves fast! They have the absolute best Crab Rangoon, ever. We’ve also had their bbq pork stick, red bean cakes and pork buns. There is not a bad thing on this menu! Great for quick bites to walk around and snack on while at Pike’s Place!

Their pastry is a little bit too sweet for my Asian taste bud, probably because they’ve been Americanized after all these years. But you know, it’s Mee Sum after all, so I still recommend this place. Lotus seed and yolk mooncake is not bad, and the char siu pastry is good—you can never go wrong with the flaky pastry, the buttery smell, and the sweet and savory char siu inside. View menu

As a Thai-Chinese local here in Seattle, I enjoy Mee Sum and their pastries. When my mother comes to visit, we go here because of their humbow and coconut cream filled pastries. Although a bit pricey, these buns are larger than you’ll find in CID or U district. The bread is different than most as it’s got a hard golden crust with soft bread underneath but that’s why we keep coming back.

I didn’t have any difficulty with the staff being unfriendly or rude. There was a line so I’m sure they were just trying to get everyone their order. I got the curry beef hom bow and green tea sesame ball. Both were tasty but I really liked the curry beef. I actually took a couple to go when I was flying out. Prices were fair not pricey. This was a little while ago so prices could be different.
