"I used to enjoy dining at this restaurant, but my recent experience was quite disappointing. I ordered a salad with Caesar dressing, and the server—an older man with white hair who mentioned he recently retired and started working in the restaurant business—became visibly upset. He repeatedly said he didn’t understand my request. When I asked where the misunderstanding was, he eventually claimed that asking for a different dressing could get him fired. I calmly explained that I was only requesting it because that’s what I had ordered during my last visit, and it wasn't a big deal for me personally. Unfortunately, my explanation didn’t seem to help, and he remained very angry. After he walked away, I overheard him venting to another server about what he apparently considered a ridiculous request for different dressing. I still left a small tip because I believe he might be dealing with some personal issues. I tried to remain as kind and professional as possible, even though that courtesy wasn’t reciprocated. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be returning, and I doubt he would want me back, either."

First time eating here at Mezzet and ordered the chicken and steak kabobs which were juicy with just the right amount of spices. The pita bread was unique than any other I've ever tried....not to mention excellent service from Vincent.

This place changed ownership and the dynamics have changed. Regular bartender is gone, as well as regulars I used to see. Subtle changes in quality of food as well. I hope the change is for the good. I'll come back in 6 months. Going back to Capital Grill.

Horrible service, food is not good, the chicken was chewy and food was cold. The kafta kabab was burned out and so dry. Very bad experience. The waitress had very bad attitude. When I asked bring the check with very bad attitude she threw the check book. If I could give 0 start I would. Not recommend it. View menu

Here for lunch, had the chicken schish k bob. Come with rice and salad; all very well. Something I didn't have. I should have asked if they had the cucumber sauce, I shouldn't have asked. Prices normal for the area. Patio is beautiful looking, and pleasant until someone in his straight piped LOUD car radiates.

The meat was juicy and flavorful, with just the right amount of seasoning. It was cooked to perfection, not dry at all, and absolutely delicious. For dessert, I had a slice of tiramisu that was heavenly. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying Mediterranean cuisine. The lamb kabobs and tiramisu were particularly outstanding, and the latte was the perfect way to cap off the meal.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! Our waiter was not only friendly but also attentive. The ambiance is beautiful and cozy, making it a lovely place to dine. I had a spontaneous lunch here today with my two little ones after some furniture shopping, and we were fortunate to have Domingo as our server. He was incredibly attentive and friendly with the kids, which made the whole experience even better. The food was fantastic; thanks to Domingo's recommendations, everything we ordered was delicious! Don't overlook this gem tucked away in the corner of South Coast Plaza—it's truly a wonderful spot!

My husband and I visited Mezze on May 25, 2023, in the early evening. The restaurant was not busy, and we were promptly seated on the patio. We started with hummus and pita, accompanied by a glass of wine. The hummus was creamy and absolutely delicious, while the pita, prepared with oil and garlic, had a slightly chewy texture.
