"Pretty cool to have an islander style breakfast and only 15mins from the 60fwy. The food was ok a bit lacking in the flavor department. The chilliquillies were ok but the pork was imo definitely lacking flavor, the plate was too dependent on the spice from the chips and yolk from the eggs. The beans were good. The spic was a medium heat. All our eggs were perfectly cooked. The loco moco was a bit salty but thats expected since we ordered the spam version so it gets a pass. The Belgium waffle was a decent size and filling. I would like to recommend this place to anyone that is interested in trying islander style breakfast. The atmosphere was cool and the music was pleasant. Make sure you pick up a pog juice at the counter. Food was made quickly and served with a smile. Cant say anything bad but nothing too great honestly since I have had better but no where near home. I will be returning next time to try their lunch and probably a few other breakfast items. Food wasnt bland its just missing a little something not sure what. But I dont want to knock it because it really wasnt bad just a little lacking. But still definitely worth a try."

"I was happy that there were vegetarian options, although I wish there weren't bonito fish flakes on my tofu tempura. We got the bento boxes where you could choose 2 to 3 different dishes, and each box (tray, really) came with a bowl of miso soup, a bowl of rice, a side salad, and edamame beans, and all of it was good. I loved how everything in the room was decorated, from the art on the walls to the hanging noren curtains. It felt authentically Japanese especially since you could also watch the sushi chef hand making the rolls at the counter. I appreciate our waitress's hustle. We arrived close to when they just opened for lunch on a Saturday. It was just her and the chef, but even then there were already 7 of us seated. She still managed to get to all of us in a timely fashion and checked in on us. She even noticed just by looking at me when I was ready for the check."

"Boonsee Thai Kitchen: A Hidden Gem with a Few Twists Boonsee Thai Kitchen is a small, clean establishment that offers big flavor and excellent service. The prices are very reasonable for the generous portion sizes, making it a great spot for a satisfying meal. We ordered four dishes to share and were impressed with the quality and flavor of each. The Pad See Eww, while good, wasn't the best we've had. We missed the leafy broccoli that typically adds a nice texture and flavor to the dish. Still, it was a solid 6/10. The Garlic Riblets were a standout. Cooked to perfection, they were well-seasoned and incredibly hot! A definite crowd-pleaser, earning an 8/10. The Spicy Beef Salad was another favorite, offering a refreshing and flavorful combination of beef and vegetables. However, we wished there was a bit more beef to balance out the veggies. The Spicy Egg Noodles were a delightful surprise. The savory flavor and good kick had us sweating but couldn't stop eating. We'd definitely order them again, giving it an 8.5/10. The service at Boonsee Thai Kitchen was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. If you're looking for a delicious and affordable Thai meal, we highly recommend giving this place a try.
