"We used to dine at Mike's almost every week for many years before the remodel and the COVID pandemic, but this was our first visit in quite some time. The service was somewhat slow, though that wasn't a major issue for us. Unfortunately, the food was clearly just reheated frozen items, which were nearly inedible. The salmon and fish and chips had a mealy texture, suggesting that the fish had been frozen for far too long, or possibly thawed and refrozen multiple times. This was definitely not the Mike's we once loved. We hope to hear about a change in management or a relaunch with positive reviews in the future, at which point we might consider giving it another try."

My drink and pasta were great. Everyone in our party of 4 enjoyed their meals and our dog was ecstatic with the service he got. I do hope they'll be open for lunch soon.

We had been wanting to try Mike's for quite some time, and we're so glad we finally did. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. The portions were quite generous as well.

I love their smoked salmon Benedict and I add an order of 1 pancake to it. Love them both. They are very accommodating there and the waitress, Lisa, is one of the best that has served us. View menu

I had not visited this restaurant before, and overall, the food was decent. The roasted Brussels sprouts were exceptional! However, the pasta dish I ordered was a little undercooked, and my husband's pizza was somewhat bland. The bar area looked appealing, but we chose to sit at a table. The crowd was on the older side and not very lively. They did have a nice selection of drinks.

everyone should go to mike's diner, drinks, appetizers, bar, t v. if you want, a pleasant, lovely caring place, the people are wonderful, the food was outstanding, we went there twice this week and each night was so great. try it friends, you will love it. we have been going to mikes for over 29 years and there is nothing like it, midtown needs mike's and we all want him to be here forever. yay.
