This restaurant sources its ingredients from local vendors, and the wonderful owners and staff add to the welcoming atmosphere. Be sure to arrive early, as they close once they run out of food. Their biscuits and gravy and avocado burrito are must-tries! You'll enjoy the charming country vibe as you watch them cook in the open kitchen.

When you step into a restaurant and immediately sense that it’s going to be fantastic, that’s how I felt at Mill Creek Kitchen. Their focus on local produce and wholesome cooking really sets them apart. I ordered the special—a pork burger with a side of hash browns—and it was delicious! I can’t wait to return, hopefully for breakfast tomorrow. Day 2: I came back for French toast accompanied by a side of gravy, and it was amazing! I’ll be back for lunch before I head home.

Visit this trendy spot for creative breakfast and lunch options, featuring seasonal local fruits and vegetables. It would fit right in in Portland, OR, and I think it would thrive there. They even serve Tillamook cheese! My only recommendation would be to avoid the breakfast wrap loaded with hashbrowns, as it might lead to some grease on your shirt. That’s a small detail they could reconsider. However, this is a minor issue in an otherwise thoughtfully curated establishment. View menu
