"Great breakfast spot and food is amazing!! This is my go-to spot when I'm in the area. I last visited this establishment is 2020 several things have changed since then. Establishment is self serve for drinks. But nonetheless service is amazing: be aware that there might be a short wait as they are low on floor staff it is a busy place. Very laid back and relaxed atmosphere. Parking is a little tough but food is hot and delicious. Well worth the wait! owners are great people!"

"Breakfast on March 22, 2023: We had chilaquiles, a chipotle benedict, and pancakes for the kids. The service was truly polite and attentive. Our food was fantastic, and the coffee was great too! The server brought out the child's meal right away before the adult orders were ready, which we really appreciated. The newly renovated interior is very inviting. We will definitely return and recommend this place to our friends, visitors, and family."

"This was a local establishment that had the people of Manteo starting off their day, getting their breakfast, and meeting up with others. We were welcomed quickly and told to find a place to sit and given menus. A lot of options and I choose the French Toast with bacon. It came out and beautifully sprinkled with powered sugar. The 3 slices of bacon were crispy, just the way I like it and I was full when we were done. We chatted with the people at the table next to us and it was a very comfortable morning and a great way to get a good meal in before heading off to see the sites. If you want the local experience, you will find it here."

"After reading several glowing reviews, we decided to give this restaurant a try. Unfortunately, our experience didn't quite live up to expectations. Perhaps it was our choice of dishes, but the food lacked freshness. I ordered the spicy chicken crepe, which was predominantly just heat and seemed to be made with frozen chicken. The potatoes were cold inside, suggesting they were also frozen. On a positive note, the lady who took our order was very friendly and accommodating!"

"The service was decent and somewhat professional, but the wait time was quite excessive given the number of customers. It took about 30 minutes for our food to arrive after we ordered, and there was only one other group ahead of us, who had already received their meal when we arrived. I felt sorry for the customers who came in and had to wait 10-15 minutes just to place their drink orders. Overall, I wouldn’t return unless they address the mildew issue and improve their food safety practices. I’m not sure if they even have a ServSafe certification."

"Visit this trendy spot for creative breakfast and lunch options, featuring seasonal local fruits and vegetables. It would fit right in in Portland, OR, and I think it would thrive there. They even serve Tillamook cheese! My only recommendation would be to avoid the breakfast wrap loaded with hashbrowns, as it might lead to some grease on your shirt. That’s a small detail they could reconsider. However, this is a minor issue in an otherwise thoughtfully curated establishment."

"According to a Google search, this restaurant was listed as one of the best on Dale Hollow Lake. So me and my wife launch at Sulphur Creek on our Jet Ski looking forward to an hour or so ride to the restaurant. When we arrived we were shocked when toldit has been closed for a while now. I can understand restaurants have struggled lately due to various reasons but why wouldn?tsomeone take the time to de-list the restaurant from the few search engines such as google and Apple. To make matters worse,the marina employee told us the restaurant at Mitchell Creek was open so off we went and when we arrived we were told by themarina it was closed. Closed in the middle of the busy summer season (July 20, 2021). Not a good look for Dale Hollow. Notsure I will be spend time next vacation at the lake when you can?t count on lake restaurants or Marinas to serve food. Thankgoodness Mikes restaurant was open and we ate there the entire time but we had to use sulphur creek as the home base for lunchand dinner."

"This is definitely one of the best hamburgers my family has ever had. We initially expected something mediocre and affordable, but we ended up wanting to return again and again. If you're a fan of great hamburgers, this is the place to visit. The combination of ingredients creates an incredible flavor that's simply delicious! The time it takes to prepare them is well worth it, so don't let that discourage you!"
