"We went to Ports Cafe last night. On their booking website it asked if we were coming for a special occasion, we indicated it was for our anniversary. Our waitress welcomed us and said Happy Anniversary. We ordered the New England Clam Chowder, it was excellent. My wife ordered the Mahi and I ordered the Prime Coulotte. We typically share our food so we can get a taste of everything, sadly the Mahi was overcooked and dry, the saffron rice, we detected no saffron taste at all, sadly it tasted like rice from a box. The Prime Coulotte was ordered medium rare, however it came medium and medium well at the edges, and the onions rings were not home made and came from frozen, most probably from Costco. Our waitress disappeared quite a bit, she didn't keep up to when we were done to come and clear our plates, we ended up stacking them ourselves and waiting for her. We noticed a bunch of tables having birthday celebrations, however we didn't receive anything in terms of an anniversary celebration, which we found strange as it clearly mentions that in our booking. Overall the meal with tip (yes, we tip well) was $159.00, the food and service was not worth that amount of money sadly. But the wine list was excellent. Perhaps they had an off night, as there are many excellent reviews."
