"Wow! This might just be the best veggie burger in San Diego! It's made from mushrooms, oats, and Parmesan, topped with crispy onions and even more melted cheese. We also tried the truffle fries, which were excellent—not overly truffle-flavored, with a sprinkle of fresh parsley on top. The restaurant offers both outdoor seating and indoor tables, creating a lively atmosphere at the bar. They have football playing on the TVs, including one outside. We also enjoyed two non-alcoholic IPAs from The Brooklyn Brewery."

I like the place but the food is too greasy. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. The liquid on the picture is the grease.

This was our second time here and the food is great! We ordered the Cuban Sandwich, the Brisket Sandwich, the Hangover Fries and the Mushroom Burger (a little spicy). Great beer/drink selection featuring local options.Food: 5/5 View menu

Great food and drink! The bartender R.R. was great. Sitting under the bridge enjoying some of San Diego's best grilled beef and mind blowing sauces , and quenching my thirst with crafted beers. Had my lady with me. She enjoyed the goods as well.

Best Hawaiian chickwn burger ive had in many years. Great service and great tasting dood. This is a hidden jewel in barrio logan, lots of tables to sit outside. Parking might be limited. If you haven't been here, you got to!!! Their food is delicious and flavorful.

Food was delicious, service was great, and the atmosphere was pretty chill. Food is extremely filling, rich, and in huge servings. Very limited seating inside majority of the seating is outside by the patio area. Had a great time here; definitely recommend for comfort eats. View menu

What a fantastic restaurant with an incredible atmosphere and delicious food! I first discovered this place through DoorDash and was so impressed by my order that I had to visit in person. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food is not only exquisite in taste but also beautifully presented—all without the high price tag! I absolutely love this place and will definitely be returning for more! Food: 5/5

The entire restaurant has a great atmosphere. The food and service are outstanding. Rachel, our server, was fantastic. My boyfriend absolutely loved the apple pie—it's a must-try, as it’s made in-house. The Hangover Fries are definitely meant for sharing. The lobster roll is also amazing. You should definitely sample their beer on tap; they even offer a 16oz mix-and-match option for the IPAs. You have to check out this place; it’s a hidden gem. We'll definitely be back!

"I adore this restaurant. Golden Hill is filled with many many quality eateries, and Counterpoint anchors the neighborhood with it's fun atmosphere and dedication to quality. They recently renovated and the new space is open, airy and provides a variety of seating options: bar seating, restaurant seating, and upper balcony (I use this as a quiet place to WFH during the week), and an outdoor patio. I'm partial to the biscuit and gravy for breakfast, but the brined chicken and waffles or breakfast hash always makes me smile and sends me unto the world with a better outlook on life and a doggie bag. When it's hot, delicious crunchy salads are on the lunch menu and the craft beers and unique slushy flavors change. Counterpoint takes the quality of food and libations seriously. The craft cocktails rotate as the bartenders are encouraged to explore and grow. The owner and team are always warm, welcoming and make sure you have a good experience. Did I mention they are DOG friendly? Definitely worth the trip up the hill from downtown if you're looking to wind down after an event or precharge and eat before a baseball game. I love to bring my friends for a snack (try the olive selection) and chat on a twilight night. Space heaters outside if you get cold. Fans inside if you get warm. Honestly if you live in or are visiting the 92102 area code you should go to Counterpoint: good food, really good cocktails, and great company. It is clear that this establishment cares about quality, cares about your comfort and loves if you have a good time."
