"My family and I went to the Central Ave location on what is so far the hottest day of this 2018 year, 7/1/18, and I got a tuna sub. It was by far the WORST tuna sub I have ever eaten. The tuna was a low grade dark, almost brown color, tuna. With very little to no mayo. It had such a tangy strong awful flavor I couldn 't eat it. The bread it was on was so tough I couldn 't even bite through it. The 1 or 2 bites I had to pull off resulted in all the brown tuna along with the wet shredded lettuce, sliding off the stale bread. My 2 stars is a generous rating only because on the hottest day of the year so far...the 1, YES ONE, employee who was working was friendly and had a great attitude in spite of it all."

Mr. Subb is a typical establishment located along a bus route. It is smaller than most shops and is located among a cluster of other stores. View menu

I always pick this place whenever I'm craving a sub or a neba; it's my favorite sandwich shop. They really make amazing sandwiches. Thank you!

This restaurant offers an authentic sub! They stack the salad, tomatoes, and onions at the bottom, with the meat and cheese on top—exactly how it should be done. It's a welcome change from other places that don't do it right.

I went in here because I was getting home late and wanted to get dinner for my family. What a mistake. I got a veggie sandwich for myself and basically overpaid for a sandwich without the meat. They just gave me lettuce, tomato and onion. I didn't noticeuntil I got home. I was not asked if I wanted more veggies. Never going in here for a sandwich again. Waste of money. Bareminimum of a sandwich. View menu

I visited a Mr. Subb in Albany New York located on Central Ave. It was my first experience and absolutely dreadful. The young woman on duty was sick and could barely speak above a whisper. The other person working with her proceded to clean with chemicals as my good was being made. The potato toys were com and hard. To top it all off the young lady asked me nothing about toppings or dressings, and just handed me a completed sandwich which was lukewarm. I ordered it hot.

"We had requested the rounded corner booth in the main dining room and arrived 20 minutes early, planning to enjoy a cocktail at the bar. But instead, we were seated at a booth right next to our preferred one. A couple finished their meal shortly after we sat down, well before our 6:30 reservation. We ordered a Beefeater gin and tonic and a very dry Beefeater martini. Both drinks had an unusual, perfume-like scent that was quite off-putting. My wife sent her drink back, and I decided to switch to a Bombay martini, but the same strange floral fragrance persisted. I regularly enjoy Beefeater and Bombay dry martinis and have never experienced this odd aftertaste before. For my main course, the Duck and Porcini confit ragu had hardly any duck in it. There were only a few shreds of duck meat hidden in the tagliatelle, but no substantial pieces. My wife’s Pesto and Shrimp dish arrived swimming in a broth. While this might be a traditional way to serve it, there was no mention of broth on the menu. She had expected the pesto to be coated on the pasta and oily, rather than soupy. As much as we have loved Capriccio over the past three decades, this experience was disappointing. We didn't even stay for dessert. We'll certainly return, but I hope to avoid writing another negative review. I usually don’t share my thoughts unless absolutely necessary, but I felt compelled to do so this time."
