"Don’t trust them check your receipt. *I was asked to elaborate. I’ve been to this restaurant, Mr. tomato three times all three times I was overcharged. First time the price seemed a little high. The second time with odd but I was in a hurry. I went in a third time, just to see if it was a scam. This is the scam. You order your meal in my case Bacon cheeseburger, zucchini and drink. They charge for a combo. Plus the zucchini plus the drink. When I confronted the cashier the last time she pretended not to speak English. This is what I order always so I don’t know if they do it just with this scenario. I will never patronize this business again. One times maybe an accident second time questionable but the third time is a scam. I would be happy if you go out of business and allow for a honest restaurant to open up."

Their policy of taking credit card information over the phone is ridiculous. No sane person would provide their credit card information to a low-budget restaurant. Some of the employees are nice, but most have an attitude. The last few times I visited, the restaurant was empty. On my most recent visit, I encountered unattractive, overweight employees gossiping about others and their children. I will not be returning to this establishment.

I had a terrible experience at Mr. Tomato. I ordered huevos rancheros with red sauce, but received hard eggs and green sauce instead. When I called to report the mistake, they asked me to come back for a replacement. However, when I asked if I should bring the wrong order back, they told me to throw it away. The restaurant later called asking me to bring the wrong order in, but I had already disposed of it. They then requested a photo, but I explained that was not possible. Despite acknowledging the mistake, they refused to replace my meal. I have been a loyal customer for years, but after this incident, I will not be returning.
