"the best restaurant experience we ever had from top to bottom. we had clam pier from the other “big 3” spots around the city and that was a step ahead. no big lines, no claim, only a great restaurant through and through. clams were fresh and damp, the crust was perfectly baked. our waiter, corey, was incredibly friendly, helpful and funny. the owner, doug, came around and chatted with us for a past and showed real concern for his business and his customers satisfied over the top. we had the Buffalo-Cauliflower app that was freshly fried and crispy, even the ranch and the blue cheese were homemade and exceptional. we also have the potato pizza with auberginen instead of speck, because we don't eat meat, and it was the best pizza I ever had. the kartoffels were fluffy, tasteful and to die for! Finally we had dessert the ice sandwich for and it was also one of the best desserts I had. everything has been done with such care and love, we have been treated with enormous respect and appreciation, and I simply cannot recommend this place enough!"

The honey Brussels sprouts, mozzarella and bacon pizza was out of this world exceptional. This was some of the best pizza I’ve ever experienced in the Elm City. Their service and ambiance were lovely as well.

The restaurant serves an amazing roasted Brussels sprout dish that pairs perfectly with their butternut squash soup. Additionally, they offer a delicious roasted and sautéed greens dish that makes for a fantastic entree following the appetizers I mentioned earlier.

There I was in a new house with only coffee and sparkling water. It was 7pm on Sunday and I was hungry and out of sorts. Google showed me Next Door so I ordered a small white clam pizza. Everything was fantastic— the staff was kind, my pizza was ready and it is super delicious. View menu

I have now ordered from DoorDash twice, and I highly recommend it if you're in search of a delicious vegan pizza in New Haven. It was simple to choose the vegan cheese from the menu, and there was no extra cost. I decided to add caramelized onions, which were fantastic. The curried butternut squash soup was also a hit. I noticed some other vegan-friendly choices that I am excited to try on my next order.

My new favorite pizza place. Unfortunately, when it's delivered, it's stone cold. I went to the restaurant to get at least one hot one. Glad I did. People were nice, loved my butternut curry soup and my plain pizza with garlic was even better than usual hot. Pizza came out a little slow, but they had 2 large parties and the bar was full. Had my trusty tablet, I wasn't impatient. I had my motorized scooter with me and my server was great about helping me find an appropriate table where I could park the thing. For us New Haveners, it's the old Humphrey's tavern , refurbished. Will go back again.
