"I had a delivery order from this restaurant and it was disappointing. The chicken shawarma was bland; the lettuce was so wet it overpowered the whole sandwich, the bread was soggy, and I cannot emphasize enough how tasteless the chicken was...The beef sandwich was better but still could have been more seasoned. The falafel sandwich was just fine, although the bread was soggy and it was a bit on the dry side. All in all, I would not go out of my way to order from this place again. Not authentic enough for the prices. Better luck next time!"

Really bad food. Onion rings don't have onions. The soup tasted stale. Stay away from this Ghost kitchen

Did an Uber eats, really good chicken hands down. The beef sharwarma was nice and thick cut. The garlic sauce was so good. And the RICE, so fluffy and good.

I ordered a chicken shawarma plate. Seems like the chicken was grilled on a pan, cut up and served. The chicken was dry and probably stale. The Rice had more turmeric than yellow saffron.Did not enjoy the food. DO NOT recommend.

I was truly impressed by the flavors of the falafel; it was cooked to perfection, which is hard to come by. I especially enjoy baked falafel, and this dish reminded me of that. The rice was also cooked nicely. Overall, I really enjoyed this meal. View menu

I placed an order for over a hundred dollars worth of food for Christmas dinner. Unfortunately, they allowed the wrong delivery person to take my order. Thankfully, I managed to find another restaurant where I could order dinner for myself and my children.

I had a delicious and healthy lunch that was also very budget-friendly. I chose the Kefta Kabob, which came with yellow saffron rice, six generous kabob balls, a small side of tomato and cucumber salad, and a piece of pita bread. The meat was wonderfully seasoned—tender and tasty. The portion of rice was satisfying, providing a filling meal without leaving you feeling overly stuffed. I will absolutely order this dish again!

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
