"The food was just average, but the service was quite good. Unfortunately, the restaurant isn't very kid-friendly, as there was only one dining table available for families with children. The greens in the salad tasted bitter and were tough to chew, and the pickles only made it worse. The chicken and noodle soup was quite bland, and the fresh string beans were raw. While there are many restaurants that use fresh ingredients and also taste great, this one does not fit that bill. However, I did enjoy the biscuit with butter and jam—it was my favorite part of the meal.
