"I've visited this restaurant a few times, and my first experience was disappointing. The "head chef" was in the back playing Xbox while I was served dry, unappetizing frozen chicken. However, there was a new cook who, unfortunately, is no longer there, and he consistently prepared fresh chicken that was cooked to perfection. It's unfortunate that they can't retain their competent staff because the less motivated employees end up relying on them to do all the work. This seems to be a major reason why the place lacks customers. I wouldn't be surprised if they end up having to close soon."

Be sure to order the Fish Tacos—you won't regret it! The selection of beers is fantastic, and the staff is wonderful too!

Outrageously delectible food, simple menu, and great range of excellent beers. Prices are what they are due to the economy. $24 for Andouille mac-n-cheese? Nephew, pls...

The hours of operation that Old Forge post on their doors AND that google has posted are incorrect. I have tried to eat and drink there twice now. I am not sure they are open before dinner anyore (again to the opposite of what their hours are as posted on the doors). View menu

I really enjoy visiting this place. It's a relaxed spot in the city. The food is incredible. I tried the fish and chips, as well as their Nashville hot chicken, and both were so tender they practically melted in my mouth. The beer on tap is excellent, and I highly recommend sampling a flight while you're there.

We popped in while exploring some of the local breweries in York. We sampled the Cider, Barleywine, IPA, and Stout, and everything was great. The Cider stood out as especially delicious. Our server was very friendly, and although we didn't order any food, what we saw looked quite appetizing. It's definitely a cool spot!

The lime seltzer was delicious! I really enjoyed the shrimp tacos—they were excellent. However, I chose a salad as my side, and it was wilted and lacked freshness. The homemade chips looked fantastic, and the fresh vegetable side was appealing as well. The salad was my only disappointment; I would never serve wilted greens myself. View menu

Excellent food and service! The burgers are amazing, as are the appetizers. I highly recommend anything on their menu. The individuals preparing the food take a lot of pride in what they do. Say hi to Rachel too, she seems to always be behind the bar ready to serve. Great place for a date night and it's also super cool to just hang out with the guys.

The atmosphere is nice; it’s never too crowded, and they show important sports games on the screens—not just anything. I haven't tried the food yet, but their menu specials posted outside suggest they offer a good variety. There are plenty of tables, and while the space isn’t massive, it’s spacious enough that you don’t feel cramped. Overall, this place has a lot of potential to be a go-to bar and grill if they could just manage to stay open more often.

"The restaurant’s doors were locked at the time it was scheduled to open, and the staff arrived late, struggling to get their colleagues to unlock the door. When I requested a table, I was informed that I could be seated in an hour, despite the restaurant being empty. Walk-ins were not accommodated, and I had to personally research and secure an open table reservation, bypassing the hostess’s information by 30 minutes. This created confusion and contributed to an overall poor experience with no clear explanation. I also overheard other patrons voicing concerns about the apparent disorganization. Considering this is one of the most expensive dining experiences in York County, the service did not match the high standards expected. However, the food was exceptional, and the presence of regular patrons suggests a loyal customer base. The bartender was polite, and while the restaurant has a rich history, it seemed few staff members were aware of it, which could enhance the overall experience and connect more deeply with local culture. Rather than remembering the meal I remember the experience which made the ticket I paid not worth it. I’m sure there would have been a smoother experience if I made a booking prior and had less interactions with the staff. Expect to pay $75 per person with a full course and drinks. My ticket was $130 with tip."
