"Gai 'N Rice has never failed to disappoint me in every meal I have had here. Each rice plate is portioned well, has great flavor, and leaves you satisfied that you are glad you ordered what you got. I get the Take2, and swap out the lean meat for dark meat. The combination of the crispy chicken and the flavorful dark meat, along with the soybean sauce and sweet chili sauce, gives the dish so much flavor to play with. Additionally the plate comes with a small bowl of broth that is just so refreshing. I 've had the Thai Coffee and Thai Tea here as well. It 's not too strong on the coffee or tea flavor, but it also isn 't just diluted by the dairy they use. I enjoy it a lot if I 'm having it in the afternoon. Gai 'N Rice is my favorite comfort meal within the Sacramento area and I would implore anyone who hasn 't had it yet to go and try it."

"The best mongolian beef, it is a very busy restaurant and that tells you one thing the food is good and so is the service, my wife is Vietnamese, and if she loves it you know it's Good. The only thing I wish is they had pictures of every thing they serve I can look at it and order it accordingly, but I know one thing the Mongolian beef is the best I've ever had"

"Ordered: papaya salad (thai), chili chicken, pad thai, drunken noodles, panang curry, and tum yum. The total was $73 and change.First, the prices are fair (ordered chicken dishes and 1 seafood dish), so if you're looking for affordable, then come here. The only seafood dish I got was the tum yum.Thai food should be a balance of sweet, sour, and salty. The dishes were all too sweet for me and my husband.Panang curry was watery and again on the sweet side. Where are the peanut undertones along with the curry flavor. I taste basil and a lot of sugar. Also, lots of green beans needs more meat.Drunken noodles were good, but where were all the noodles. It was hard to find. They were broken up and a little mushy.Papaya salad was perfectly spiced for medium but again so sweet.Chili chicken was okay.Tum yum was again sweet and was barely sour. So disappointing. Was missing the tamarind and lime.The pad thai was the highlightlight. Good, but where is the side of peanut and bean sprouts that usually accompany it.I rated 3 stars because the food was 1 tone and lacking the flavors I'd expect from a Thai place.Customer service was good. The food was ready at the time of pick up."

"I've really tried to give this place a fair shot, but each visit has left me feeling disappointed. I often go there for lunch since it's nearby and convenient during my half-hour break. Unfortunately, on two occasions, my food has been left forgotten at the pickup window. The first time, it sat there for 20 minutes, which gave me only 10 minutes to actually eat it. The second time, it seemed like the staff at the front was more focused on her phone than on serving customers. I finally lost patience and walked up to the window myself, asked the cook if I could take my food, showed him my receipt, bagged it myself, and left. And after all that waiting, the food wasn't even worth it."

"JP Thai is one of the best Thai restaurants in Sacramento. The food is made fresh to order, the food is flavorful, and the staff are always very friendly. The restaurant is conveniently located in the heart of South Sacramento. There is plenty of parking spaces and I felt safe in the area. I highly recommend this business if you want a taste of Thailand."
