I got luck and came on a Thursday.. the oyster fried po boy is the best! The roast beef one is good too but if I had to pick, I like the oyster one better.. I recommend this place.. the French bread was very good

Stopped by for a business lunch, had their famous James Brown Poor Boy and jambalaya. It was very delicious, super rich in flavor and a lot of food (and I ordered a small sandwich). Would definitely come back and try something else!

Heard about these poor boys for a while and finally tried them they lived up to the hype big time. The fried shrimp are huge and amazing. The James Brown has BBQ beef and shrimp and I see why it was voted best sandwich ! The staff is awesome. miss Justine was a peach View menu

I feel like my photos don't do justice to how amazing Parkway po'boys are.. I picked a Creole spiced chicken breast and added a delicious Creole bbq sauce.. Highly recommend! My partner tried the roast beef with gravy, which was also very tasty.. Top that off with friendly service, and you have a restaurant that's not to be missed!

Great food, ample parking, and the line moves fast! The fried pickle chips were good.. the half n half oyster and shrimp Po ' Boy was fantastic.. I enjoyed my James Brown roast beef n shrimp Po ' Boy you really couldn 't taste the shrimp in my opinion but it has a great kick with BBQ flavor.. If you like oysters and want to try that on your Po ' Boy Wednesday and Thursdays only!

There is a reason this place is busy they make great poboys in a interesting old building. I got the shrimp and oyster 50/50 dressed. It was really tasty and thoroughly enjoyed it. One thing I wish I would have known that I could have gone straight to the bar and ordered food and had a beer or 2 instead of waiting in the line and waiting for my food. But it was a bit chaotic when I got there. Either way it still was a great experience and the food was fantastic. One of those places that actually lives up to the hype. View menu

Great atmosphere, service, and food. The fried gulf shrimp Pol boy sandwich was stuffed with shrimp! Dressed with lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo on a warm, hard crust roll. The shrimp was perfectly seasoned and fried to perfection. They did not hold back on the amount of shrimp and generous portions. The coleslaw is made daily, and it tasted creamy and fresh. The fries were crispy and lightly salted. The atmosphere was great. Decorated with nostalgic pictures of Parkway Bakery. Indoor and outdoor seating. And I must add, the bathroom was very clean!

What a place! Food is definitely heavy but so delicious. But the atmosphere there is everything. I’m a European and if you are traveling from abroad this is the absolute MUST to visit. However, I was traveling with an American friend and he was just as happy to be there so I guess it’s a vibe of this place which unbelievable. Keep in mind that there is a waiting line. We were there for lunch and waited for 20 min to order and than another 20 min for our order to get ready. However, being inside is a treat so go there and enjoy yourself. This place is made for that

Go! Don't think about it just go and try it. From the food to the atmosphere, it's all 5 stars. We went during lunch and there is a wait time. We waited about 20 min to order and maybe 15 to 20 for the food but it was all worth it. Lots of flavors and big portions. We definitely could've shared but we wanted to try different items since we aren't from there. We had the shrimp poor boy, the James brown poor boy, chicken and sausage Jambalaya, and the mixed french fries. There are a few tables indoors but lots of covered seating outside. The staff is super friendly, plenty of parking and the bathrooms are clean. Overall such a great experience and will be back when in New Orleans. View menu
