"it was my first visit here, after celebration of the birthday of my wife, we were insulted by server called 'akruthi' before all guests. we reached at 19:30 clock the restaurant, sat at 20:00 clock, and order served from 8:30 to 20:45 clock. after reordering some food at 21:00 clock, we were informed that kitchen closed at 9:00. so is the 1st output, even though we just started our dinner in the last 20 minutes or so, we were not informed that kitchen closed soon in case or reordering any food. After we asked server (akruthi) why we were not told that they would close kitchens if we have to order more, this is how sever-Akruthi with insulted contest back very arrogent 'didn 't they see our time signs from the side! especially hospitable. they talked to us as if we were for free food there and that would not be acceptable by anyone. I had already ordered food for over $100 and without argument (here also the input) completely paid. I tried repeatedly to reach the responsible manager(Rubi)/owner after this evening about the phone for a week, every day to discuss the same, but they stopped on ignoring phone coming and did not want to talk to me, they already know what happened and it was the mistake of the customer who was with their server acrthi. (pure example of nepotism operated by management) seems as if whole management has neither respect nor value for the customer if the customer has any problems under his services. they go to the restaurant to spend some good time with their family friends, but not ruin their time and insult themselves in front of the group of known people. I do not ask her to visit this restaurant."

On my first visit, the manager told me that since everything is made fresh to order, they can leave cream out of all their veggie entrees! Tasty, authentic food, great service, and awesome wine mixed drink prices. Try the lychee vodka! View menu

delicious food! here recently visited for dinner and our whole table was impressed by the food and agreed that we will eat here again. only have 4 stars, although the chairs are ridiculously unpleasant and most meals on the menu are a kind of pricy.

I had never had Indian food before and a seasoned vet took me and ordered everything. Chicken curry and butter chicken was amazing and we had chai tea, which I've never had before. Really good. The naan was really tasty and the food portions were out of this world. You will leave full. View menu

negatiw: I didn't recognize anyone. I have to discuss this review, however, with 3 important factors that shape my experience: 1) I have eaten only once at a passage after indien 2) I ate in the early evening at a week night 3) I visited as vegetarian, so maybe I should leave a second assessment on the basis of a vegan perspective! positiw: I enjoyed the relaxing environment lighting and spacious, comfortable sitting. the waiter was profi. I found them polite and handy (we concentrated mainly on the buffet), which I prefer to wait. what the food offerings that are all present and I found satisfaction with the selection! I love curry and also like to eat light and low calorie, while my date f...

Having eaten at literally hundreds of Indian restaurants all over North America, I can 't remember ever having such wonderful food as at Passage To India in Wichita, Ks of all places. Anytime I know I am heading through Wichita my mouth starts to water and I start to fixate on the wonderful favors I will soon be eating. My journey with Indian food began in my early 20s... My oldest daughters first ethnic food was Indian food. Both of them continue to think of passage to India as their favorite food... How to begin? The most simple pleasures are always an excellent way to begin your emotional connection... A smile... A simple piece of bread... Nan... Imagine every bite of bread you eat as bei...

"As a Gluten free couple and myself being only a fish eater (no meat) there are very few quality restaurants my husband and I find that we can truly enjoy in the city of Wichita. Most places do have one or two choices for those with my dietary requirements, but often they seem like an afterthought. The Belmont is now added to our short list of regular places we plan to dine. We met Tory, the owner who sat us to our cozy booth, and immediately began to offer creative GF takes on several of their dishes. I was offered a decontructed bruchetta where the fillings were served on a lettuce plate and in place of some of the meat component was offered a side of nice smoked salmon for protein. I added the olive snack and was delighted with the red and green selection. My husband had the burger (hold the bun) and loved his meal. We splurged on sharing a dish of homemade vanilla ice cream for dessert. It was fresh and tasty! My only suggestion would be to keep some rice or GF flour on hand in the kitchen to possibly offer some of the breaded or fried dishes as GF options. (Yes even with a shared fryer, there are many such as my husband and I who are not celiac who have found shared fryers make no difference) Fully 30% of the public considers themselves GF. It is so easy to get a box of quality GF pasta or sub out some GF or Rice flour to dredge for frying. I find Rice flour to make for a crisper dredge anyway! I truly wish more Wichita restaurants would attempt to provide more varied dishes for us GF restaurant goers. Wouldn't you like 30% of your client base to be thrilled to head your way for good GF dish options? Just offering starchy GF sandwich buns (not what the Belmont does) is not a creative answer."

Larcher's Market

"Larcher's Market was a last-minute choice, but I ended up having an amazing breakfast there. I originally planned to have lunch, but I was getting too hungry to wait an hour. I went for the B.E.C. Sammie, which included bacon, scrambled eggs, Havarti cheese, Larcher’s sauce, and arugula, all sandwiched between two slices of rosemary garlic focaccia. The focaccia stood out as some of the freshest, best bread I’ve ever tasted—it truly made the sandwich. The arugula was dressed in a red wine vinaigrette, showing the extra care Larcher's puts into their dishes. The eggs were incredibly fluffy, and the bacon was cooked almost perfectly. Saying I enjoyed this sandwich is an understatement. Seriously, that bread was unforgettable. As for the atmosphere, I’d give it 30 stars if I could. I’m slowly becoming obsessed with this place. Larcher's Market has a friendly staff and a space that feels both modern and cozy. For a late breakfast, I tried the Crispy Chicken Biscuit, and once again, Larcher's nailed it. The biscuit was clearly baked fresh that morning—light and buttery. The chicken was hand-breaded, juicy, and had the perfect crunch. The sunny-side-up egg was cooked just right, and the pico de gallo was fresh. The cheese was simple—a slice of American, from what I could tell. My only critique is that the sausage gravy could’ve used a bit more seasoning and perhaps a touch more butter. Other than that, the Crispy Chicken Biscuit was outstanding. I love Larcher’s so much that I brought my friend Brooke for her first visit. She ordered the Turkey Club (not pictured), and I had the Breakfast Sammie. Her sandwich looked great, but I can only speak about mine, which had pork sausage, hash browns, over-hard eggs, a brioche bun, American cheese, and jalapeño jam. The sausage had a unique flavor, and the sweet-spicy jalapeño jam really elevated the sandwich. The brioche bun was freshly baked, soft, and fluffy—something I haven’t had in a while. The hash browns were crispy and the perfect finishing touch. After trying their food, I’m convinced Larcher's Market serves some of the best breakfast in Wichita. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"
