"The hostess when we checked in was not very pleasant. We requested a booth and she put us at a small table next to the bar and the front of the restaurant. When you make a reservation it is expected that you get to sit inside the restaurant to experience the ambiance and feel special, we felt like we were pushed aside. Our waitress was very pleasant though she did not bring our food to us and we had to ask another server not a waiter to bring us our dressing we had requested with our order. When we got our food it was not hot. The fries, tots and nachos were warm almost cold. We had to wait a long time to receive our check. It was not very busy inside. A lot of the staff was standing around talking to each other."

Went there specifically to get the drink in the bowl. Was told they were out of bowls. Food was ok.

Our server never looks us in the eyes. She didn't look like she wanted to be there. Like we were a bother. Kinda killed the mood. View menu

We always visit this place when in Vegas. They have THE BEST slow roasted barbecue chicken. The service is always amazing and the ambiance is on point.

Food was less than mediocre. I realize that you pay a premium in vegas for just about anything, particularly food however, this was just not good at all. I would NOT recommend it. Service was great though.

Nothing wrong with the food or the place but just wasn’t our place. Made reservations before a show- it was nice to have but definitely not needed. Food wasn’t timed out for appetizers and entrees- they came within seconds of each other. Just meh and wouldn’t go again. View menu

Setting was good. Loved being outdoors on strip. Service was fair at best. But they were kind. Wrong food brought to us twice, appetizer main course. Quality of food was awful. Burger ordered medium came out like a hockey puck. Fries had no flavor. Salad was wilted. Would not recommend at all.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The ribeye and NY strip were of poor quality, and the food was incorrectly served. The server seemed to have issues with the kitchen and bus staff, displaying an unprofessional attitude. To make matters worse, the fire alarm went off, which, while not the restaurant's fault, added to the overall sense of chaos. We had made a reservation for a birthday party of eight, and based on this experience, I cannot recommend this place.

"Entry: We entered Oscar's via the front entrance of The Plaza at the West end of Fremont Street. Off to the left near the entrance is the escalator that leads you to their second floor. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated by a friendly hostess. We requested a table with a view and she definitely obliged. Atmosphere:The ambience at Oscar's is about as good as you can get in downtown Las Vegas. Centered in a large and beautifully tinted glass dome you get panoramic views of downtown LV and even the sky. Service:The service was a spectacular star experience with our waiter. Our water and drinks were never empty. He was attentive, professional and friendly. Food Drink:The food was very good but not quite up to star. The Chilean Sea Bass was the full fish with skin which is quite different than how most steakhouses prepare just a single filet. It was supposed to be deboned however we found bones while eating. The skin on the filet should be crispy throughout but was only so around the edges. Definitely overpriced for the quality of this meal. The salmon was decent but not amazing. Overcooked just a smidge and not seasoned very well. So pretty much tasted like any other salmon you might expect from a or star restaurant. The filet mignon was decent but probably not even in my top The cut was more fatty than what you would expect from a high end steakhouse and not marbleized. I ordered it medium, and as many steakhouse chefs struggle with cooking a filet properly it was cooked to order on the edges and pretty much completely rare on the inside. The grilled asparagus was likely the high point of the dinner. Was cooked to perfection and tender in the middle, crispy on the edges. The creamed spinach wasn't great. The spinach was undercooked and affected the smooth consistency that you should expect from a good cream spinach.Overall:Definitely worth trying for the experience but don't set your bar too high"
