"One of the worst experiences I 've ever had at a restaurant. It started out well beautiful sunny day and a table over looking the golf course. What could be better? We had a deviled egg app that was good. And then... my burger came out I use the term burger loosely. I had ordered the Surf Turf burger medium rare (the turf was fried buttermilk shrimp . It came out medium. And not just medium, but dried out crumbly, hockey puck medium. And the shrimp tasted like something right out of the freezer section. So I sent it back and asked that it be taken off the bill. Mind you other than one tiny shrimp a pebble of burger, I hadn 't eaten anything else off the plate. 10 minutes later the hostess comes out WITH THE BURGER and says In the light out here it looks medium, but if you look at it under the kitchen lights it 's pink as can be . Which of course makes no sense it won 't look darker out on the sunlight! But it gets worse she asks if I want this dried out now STONE COLD burger. No thanks I 'll pass. Then she says get this the manager said he won 't take it off the bill just because I (the paying customer mind you don 't think it 's cooked right. UNBELIEVABLE. I said you know we won 't be back and she shrugs and say OK . No apology no I hope you change your mind nothing. Now I know that people make mistakes cooks make mistakes Burgers get over done. But to treat customers so rudely, and for the manager not to come out and tell me himself well these are people who do not care about their customers, or what kind of food they are putting out. It 's not like this is a fine dining establishment and I 've insulted a classically trained chef by not liking his food. This is pub food and not very good pub food at that. I will say the waitress was very sweet it was not her fault at all. She was so apologetic but we told her that she can 't help it of she has a bad manager and an unhelpful hostess. Do yourself a favor unless bad food and worse attitudes are your jam, skip this place for anything other than maybe a beer after your round of golf."

"I had some issues with this restaurant in the past but decided to give them another chance. I ordered a twelve-cut pizza, but they sold me an eight-cut pizza cut into twelve slices. To make matters worse, it was burned. When I went inside to address the problem, the staff began arguing with me, claiming it was my fault for not ordering a Sicilian pizza. I only received an $8 refund. Then, they confronted me outside, which escalated into a fight. I will never return to this place again—what a disappointment!"

"The food is consistently excellent and of very high quality. I’m a huge fan of the jalapeño poppers, chicken sandwich, pizzas, and mac and cheese with avocado fritters—those are my go-to orders. In fact, I think their mac and cheese might even be better than that of Druther’s, which is one of my favorites! I highly recommend this restaurant. If you’ve had a negative experience, I urge you to give them another chance. It’s important to remember that, as a small business, they may occasionally run out of items due to supply chain issues, and that’s nothing to hold against them. The welcoming atmosphere and attentive servers also make a huge difference. I’m really glad this restaurant is in Altamont; it’s by far the best in the area. I believe it even surpasses similar restaurants in Guilderland."

"However, after coming home from a long 12-hour shift, I was really disappointed to find my sub was dry and lacked the extra Russian dressing I requested. It barely resembled what I would consider normal Russian dressing. I even went back to the restaurant hoping to get an extra cup of dressing, only to be told they were too busy. I find that hard to believe—it's not like they're too busy to put the right amount of dressing on a sub. On top of that, the amount of meat in my sub was less than what I’ve received in the past. Because of this experience, I think I’ll go elsewhere for my next sub, probably to Stewart’s. Thanks for the previous good experiences, but I’m really disappointed this time."

"We could sit on the terrace immediately and our server Grace was incredible!! We brought our son and he could order a children's size food; we had a fish fry and the roasted chicken and grilled peach pizza - everything was excellent and came in great timing even tho they were busy! My husband and son got some training points while we waited for food to come out. Great atmosphere also!!! In any case, look forward to the return!!!"
