"Fantastic! Seriously one of the best restaurants we went to! Portions are large and the it’s not too pricey. Everyone there wants to help you have the best meal too. Seriously not a single complaint about this place. It’s right next to the town as well so you can easily walk off those extra carbs. I’m pretty sure they even allow pets. If your in the area with nothing to do, stop in and get a bite. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!"

I've been here twice and I think it's safe to say the food is not authentic at all.

I've been coming to Penny's for years and it never disappoints! Great quick lunch. I love their 5 Spice Shrimp dish. So spicy and served over rice with a side of cool salad with a sweet dressing that balances out the meal. Yum yum!

This was my first time being here, and unfortunately it will be my last. The owner is retiring, and the restaurant will be closing as of April 14, 2019. The food was delicious and the service was decent. I would go back again if given the opportunity.

Had an opportunity to stop in to this iconic Chicago spot for Chicago dogs, Italian beef and frozen custard. I ordered a big beef after walking all day. It was a hearty, impressive meal for under $9. The beef was tender and moist, but needed a little seasoning. View menu

The other reviews are right, staff is friendly and fast. This is the red curry chicken option. I also got a Paloma drink as part of their drink specials on Sunday. Everything tasted delicious! Must try and definitely will come back. Also got the pad Thai to-go and it also delicious!

Awesome. I think this place is great. It's cheap and the food is great. I come here with freinds from the NW Burbs whenever we get to the city. I always get the Tom Yum soup( So spicy and good man.. and Pad Thai. I love the Thai Coffee. It's GOOD. <br/ <br/ Check in to this location or the Wrigleyville one for some solid thai food, you will be craving it once you did...

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
