Phở Bánh Mì Chè Cali

This review is for their sandwiches. I've tasted a lot of vietnamese sandwiches and these were not that good. Although their baguette sandwiches are huge and lots of filling, taste wise they were mediocre. You get what you pay for.

This restaurant offers some of the best pho ga, especially with their 50% off promotion. The menu also features delicious egg rolls, teriyaki sandwiches, kung pao shrimp, and crispy fried tofu. It's an excellent spot for enjoying tasty pho and other Thai/Vietnamese dishes! Plus, it's quite kid-friendly; I often see children enjoying the same meals as their parents.

This is the best pho in Orange County! The broth is incredibly flavorful, and the taste is elevated with hoisin, sriracha, and other additions. They often have a discount on the chicken pho, and the rice noodle pho is less than $6. The egg rolls are consistently crispy and served hot. Quality and service went down but prices went up , I have been coming here for a few years . Poor management, don’t care about their customers, prices are same as other Vietnamese restaurants but quality went down badly. Some of the foods I got here were either under cooked or overcooked. You have to asked them a few times to give you napkins, there many good Vietnamese foods in the area , stay away from this place, don’t worth it anymore!!

We decided to dine in, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The woman who took our order was extremely unhelpful. She seemed disinterested, turning away each time someone placed their order, as if she couldn't wait to escape. Her presence felt overwhelmingly negative, sapping the joy from everyone around her. The pho was tasteless, and the children's portions were quite small. Her attitude really overshadowed the entire meal. I would strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant—it's best to stay far away.

Customer service could be better! Walked in and was greeted but our server was very rude, she tossed the menus on our table and gave us a dirty look numerous times every time she passed by our table or from behind the counter. I couldn't understand what her name was but she is probably the oldest lady here. Food is good not the best, also noticed there were a lot of fruit flies and mosquitos. I was craving a meal, and while my spouse wanted wings, I noticed a pho shop and immediately thought of Banh Mi. I stepped inside and was greeted by a friendly lady at the counter. Since there was a $10 minimum for credit card transactions, I decided to order two BBQ pork Banh Mi to meet that requirement. The baguette was wonderful—perfectly balanced with just the right amount of meat and vegetables. I loved the generous amount of cilantro, though I would have enjoyed a little more jalapeño. Although the baguette wasn't toasted and there was no mayo, that didn't bother me at all. I definitely plan to come back!

In addition to my sandwiches, I ordered a baguette (which is no longer $1) and three sesame balls. The sesame balls had a great crispy exterior, but the filling inside was quite minimal. Despite that, I would still buy them again due to the delicious crust. One noticeable difference from the Westminster location is that the sandwich bread here lacks the extremely crispy crust that tends to shatter everywhere when you bite it. I didn't mind this for a couple of reasons: it meant I wouldn't end up with cuts in my mouth from the bread and I wouldn't have to vacuum my car immediately after getting home. Goodbye, Westminster—I'm sticking with Fountain Valley from now on!

We got in this restaurant around 6:35 pm on Saturday night the 18th of February. It was about 1/3 full. We sat down and waited for the waiter to come. About 10 minutes later he came to our table and we ordered the food. We had plenty of time to look around and we saw there was only one waiter, a very young man running from one table to the next one, and multiple trips to the counter for other guests request. He also was the only one to bring food to the tables for guests. He was running everything and everywhere in the restaurant. We felt so bad for him.
