"HANDS DOWN. BEST LEGIT PHO! The broth is super good, clear, fragant, and tasty and the noodles are so fresh and soft. The slice beef is very good quality so it taste so sweet when you don't overcook it. The beef balls and tendons are also my favorites. The basil and bean sprouts are always fresh. Had it so many times and still craves for it. Just can't get enough. UPDATE: They recently expanded to next door and food taste even better. Had the Bun Bo Hue (weekends only) and it was good. The fried tofu was cripsy on outside and so juicy and moist on the inside."

Took my three kids there on Friday for their first Vietnamese food experience (other than the sub-par stuff I try to make at home. Service was outstanding, place was very clean and most importantly food was great. Kids loved it and asked to go back the next day! . Highly recommend!

Charming little restaurant offering excellent Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. The service is friendly and efficient, and the portions are generous. During my time living in San Diego, I fell in love with Vietnamese cuisine, but I didn't think I'd find anything to satisfy that craving back home. Then I discovered Steps Pho Bowl. I tried their pho, banh mi, fried rice, pad thai, and several appetizers, and I can't say enough good things about the food—everything was delicious! The service was outstanding, always fast and friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. If you treat yourself to a meal here, you definitely won’t be disappointed!
