But when a local Wolcottnite, my trusty barber no less, pointed me toward New Haven Pizza in Wolcott, curiosity got the best of me. The promise of their top selling masterpiece, the Baked Stuffed Shrimp Pizza, beckoned me in. Stepping into the pizzeria, I felt an unexpectedly cool vibe, with their stylish ovens adding an extra layer of intrigue. As I carried my treasure to the car, a tantalizing aroma filled the air, making the short drive feel like an eternity. Opening the box was like unveiling a hidden treasure, and it was immediately clear this was a different breed of pizza. "Wow! First time at this restaurant and I’m so sad I haven’t tried it earlier! The food was all delicious. Their gyoza, crab rangoon and fried calamari were scrumptious. I had white tuna sashimi and the special roll of the day (black forest roll) the different flavors and textures were such a great concoction. I also admire the fact they didn’t cover it in a heavy layer of tempura, it was the perfect amount. My husband had the pineapple chicken with fried rice and I have to say their fried rice is the best fried rice I’ve had in a long time. Their presentation was such a nice touch on all the dishes and made our experience special. Can’t wait to be back!"

"really excellent eating. some of the best Italians I ever had. this place surprised us that the manager john seemed a little unorganized when he was sitting and the television blasphemed. it was the beginning of lunch and soon, when he switched off the television and put some good music, we looked around and saw the beautiful, cozy decoration w a kamin, beautiful dark brown wood furniture and brick. not opulent or fancy, but beautiful. then it came to eat and it bleededed us away. hot delicious brot, w fresh good salad w carrots and a few beans. my men spinat lasagne was excellent and my simple pasta w marinara and sausage was incredible. both the sauce and the sausage were perfectly tasteful. my mother-in-law...read more"

"We went strictly for sushi this time and it was quite good. Not the best I have ever had, but everything was very fresh and very tasty. Service was quick. My only concern is we went on a Friday night from 7:30 to 9:30 pm and the place was an absolute ghost town. O know on Valentine's day it is next to impossible to get a seat. Will they survive to the next Valentine's day in six months?"

"I Live less than Five Mins from Peters Pizza , I have ordered from them over 5 Times over the course of 6 Months or so. I will say the First Pie I ordered was Amazing the Sauce had flavor , you could feel the heat from the cheese. As Time passed the orders continued to drop in quality but it being a location five mins from me it was still a place I spent money at, This time I order a Pizza at 5:10 PM , They tell me I have a 30 Min Wait. I arrive within Twenty Mins , Pay for my order and Discuss how he is short handed and Understaffed. I pay for my Pizza and Proceed to make my way out the door , I notice something Off , The Bottom of the pizza Box was Ice Cold. As I got home to my apartment and picked up the first Slice , the Pizza had already Formed into that look of the Cheese Pizzas that Sit on the Tray to Sell For the Slice . The Issue with Using a Whole Pizza that you made For the Slice and using it for a Ordered Pie , you don 't get the luxury of heating it up without ruining the Crust and Overall Warmth of the pizza. When I shared my Displeasure they avoided Giving me my Refund acted as if The Pizza was Fresh and Hot out the Oven , It was not , I should not have been able to carry that Pie in my hand for how fast I got to the Pizza Shop . Pizza Review : Honestly Terrible , Most of the Enjoyable Pizza Spots in Waterbury have a Nice Sauce or Pie Crust to them. This Place Lacks them Both . This is Due to the Plan Tomato sauce they use , Obviously right from a Massive Pot that sits in the Fridge probably a little longer than It Should, I would even have to guess That the Fresh Sauce holds very little actual Seasoning or Spices to it , Right from a Campbells commercial or something, These Guys can 't be Serious Right ? In Waterbury With Park Pizza Less than a 5 Min Drive from you ? I can See why they are understaffed. Customer Service Review: I 've had very Few interactions with the Owner and Family member who run the establishment ,But based on my Wife 's Interaction with them on the Phone , they hardly care about Pleasing the customer and were trying to Rush us Off the Phone so they can Hurry Close Shop at 6PM (another Sign that this business doesn 't have the Clients to justify its Existence Overall Had no issues with the service Prior to the Denial of Poor Quality Food. Verdict : Do Not Spend your Money Here , Even on a Good Day this Place is Sub Par ,Waterbury has far too many Great Pizza Spots to waste your Money on this Trash , I never will Again Hey , Peters Pizza, Your Outta Here !!!!!"
