"Great place to refill after a trail run in the Wind River Range. Service was great and the food was tasty and plentiful. Had steak and eggs skillet and it was a monster meal. Added a short stack just to be sure I didn't get hungry the rest of the weekend! All the food was perfect.Love this old west Diner, and so does everyone else based on the line out the door at 11am on a Saturday. Our server was great too."

"I really really want to like this place but I had the exact same experience literally 2 years apart. It has so much potential but the problem starts with service. I walked in and there were maybe 2-4 people at the bar yet there were like 5 employees hanging around at the end just chilling and talking. I think that they saw me walk in but did not acknowledge my presence as a human being. I get this a lot as a solo woman traveling since I am not a big group so no big tip. But I do tip really big for really good service.Anyway it took me a ridiculously long time to get looked at and to get a beer even with all employees hangin around.Now for the food, I got barbecue nachos but they came out all deconstructed like I had to pour the cheese on, put all the toppings on etc. the only thing on the nachos when I got them was a huge stringy mess of shredded beef. It must have been the last day for it, cuz it was really really tough, almost inedible and super sweet like they just poured a bunch of super fake sweet barbecue sauce on to try to mask the oldness.The whole point of nachos is to be all messy and wet and an amalgam of the flavors mixed together not for me to do all the work for them. It seemed like laziness on the kitchen’s part.The beer is hit or miss like the IPA is not great and I am an IPA fanatic. But the pale ale is pretty good but on my second visit, I made sure not to get food, I was scared because of my food allergies to try anything else. (Things taste fake.)Such a great location and not a lot of places to eat, would be cool in they really became a gastropub like most breweries on the east coast instead of just dialing it in."

"This is one of our favorite establishments that we regularly frequent. Family owned and great food. Definitely authentic and has a nice homey touch since the whole family is working hard to make sure you have a very nice experience. Our favorites: El Reys-includes chicken in a creamy sauce and a thin delicious piece of steak rice and beans, guacamole and your choice of flour or corn tortillas . I've been getting this the last few times. Topped off with a grilled jalapeño. Can't go wrong. La suizas enchiladas- very good enchiladas that have a great green sauce and are topped with a jack cheese. Used to be my usual until I discovered el Rey's.La crema enchiladas- such a great cream sauce! So so so good. Margaritas- sweet, but always hit the spot. Happiness is a margarita and chips and salsa. That's why this has become a weekly tradition. This is our favorite but also a town favorite. What's not to like?? Also I here there is flan in the summer. So excited!!"

"I am always rooting for family restaurants and enjoy spending my money in small towns, so I get no enjoyment out of leaving a negative review. You can tell some of the food is straight out of a box and heated up, like the Taquitos. The Colorado burrito was bland, the meat had an uncomfortable texture, and they don’t have any variety of sauces or salsa at different heats? My wife’s quesadilla was extremely thin with bland unseasoned beef out of a can. I’m really surprised with the decent reviews about this place, I think that may be a reflection of the kind locals of Pinedale rather than the quality of food, because it blows."

"We arrived in town at 7:47 PM after navigating through some crazy traffic in Jackson. The lady and gentleman working there were simply amazing! Even though they close at 8 PM, they served my family of five without any complaints, despite us arriving close to closing time. We took our subs to go, and my family loved the artwork displayed while we placed our order! We totally appreciated that! The lady was wonderful; she even labeled our bags with “Sub” so we knew which was which when we got to the hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly! A family from Minnesota, who had endured a challenging vacation, walked into this Subway just before closing and were greeted with warmth and smiles, and they didn’t feel rushed at all. If we return to this area, we would definitely eat here again! Thanks for making a tough day just a little better!"
