"Initially, my colleague Paul claimed that this pizza was terrible. Given that he also believes Baker Mayfield is bad, I wasn’t inclined to take his opinion seriously. So, I decided to give it a shot myself, and wow, was Paul mistaken. Your pizza was absolutely delicious! It felt as if a light went on in my taste buds, and they were dancing with joy. Every bite was a delightful experience. I’m going to recommend your pizzeria for our upcoming Pizza Day at work. I feel like I've lived two lives: one before trying your pizza and one after, where I've come to realize that everything I thought I knew about pizza was wrong. I wholeheartedly recommend your pizza!"

I enjoyed my experience there; it's not my absolute favorite, but it was certainly good. The garlic bread with cheese had a strong garlic flavor, which I thought was fantastic!

This local pizza spot has been a staple for quite some time, run by a friendly mom-and-pop team. It’s our preferred pizza place due to its convenient location. Every pizza we've tried has been delicious. If you’re looking for a tasty, quick slice, just give them a call! View menu

A pizza takeout only place, so I don't expect atmosphere. I like their pizza. Generally good quantities of toppings, and ready when it's supposed to be. I recommend it, particularly their veggies. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Great pizza here. Good quality ingredients and a solid crust baked on a stone the way all pizza should be. No dine in or delivery but picking it up yourself means you get to meet the owner and he's pretty cool in his own right. He even bakes cookies and sells them around Christmas, as good as mom used to make!

Fantastic pizza! The sauce was just the right amount, and the crust and cheese were perfectly cooked. The mozzarella sticks were delightful! I do wish there was a bit more cheese on the potato skins, but I appreciated that they provided multiple containers of dips for the appetizers. I will definitely order again! View menu

This is a Solid Mom Pa pizza place. Their Pizza, subs, and Calzone Sandwiches are the best and at very reasonable prices. This place is a little Gem hidden in plane site. I highly recommend giving them a try. Its like getting a home cooked meal from your favorite family member. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20

The pizza came with a good amount of sauce, which is nice when the crust is a little thicker like they serve, but the opposite seemed true for the cheese. It's typical for places to give less with more toppings for a couple of reasons, but the amount of cheese I received on my three-topping small seemed more scant than any. The crust had a flavor that was more reminiscent of a type of pastry than it was suited for pizza. It's OK overall though.

"So 6 years ago I left the below review. which you can see under this one I am doing today. I thought by now they would have gotten their act together. Giving local restaurants my hard earned money is important to me so I figured I 'd give them another try.....6 years is enough time to do better. Not so...never going back here again! I orderd the Ceaser Salad with Salmon and a side of vegetables. The side of vegetables of which I paid plenty for consisted of 3 pieces of sliced Zucchini, two pebble size pieces of onion and a tiny square of a red pepper. Are you kidding me? $7.00 for a side of vegetables that literally would have left a 9 month old hungry! I called the restaurant to see if they forgot to include a side and all the girl on the phone could say was sorry that 's just how we do it. The salad was not good and once again, even after telling them more than once the food came to me with no napkins and no plastic utensils. Burntwood Tavern loves to have you eat your take out food with your hands! There are so many other restaurants who deserve my hard earned money...this is definitely not one of them. Poor food, poor service, poor everything. I 'd stay away and try some other restaurant around town. Once bitten...twice shy! Horrible! Just picked up take out when I told myself I wouldn 't do it again. Flatbread was ice cold, hummus was not good, and I had to wait an additional 15 minutes for food to come out when we gave them a 1/2 hour notice before pick up. They didn 't seem too busy so not sure why that happened. Anyways never been impressed with this place so not going back. Great atmosphere and good looking building but had more than twice mediocre experiences so its off the list."

"My family and I visited this restaurant about two months ago, and I would like to share our experience. Perhaps it will be useful to someone planning a visit. I will start by saying that the service left us with a very mixed impression. In all fairness, I will note that our waitress was polite, friendly, and smiling. However, her professionalism raised serious questions. My husband asked her several clarifying questions about the menu, regarding the type of oysters, their origin, and the regularity of their serving. The waitress could not answer right away, went to the kitchen for clarification, and returned with general information. When my husband tried to clarify additional details and also asked questions about sashimi, its composition, and serving, she did not answer, citing the fact that she did not understand our accent. I would like to clarify some things about the accent. My husband has lived in the United States for over 30 years, is a PhD scientist, a university professor, the author of multiple scientific articles, and the president of a large company. We did not discuss the android collider or rocket science with her. We had a simple conversation about the menu, which, in our opinion, should be part of the basic knowledge of the waiter. As a result, it seemed that the waitress was covering up her ignorance with such excuses. It was also unpleasant to notice the familiarity and fraternization in her communication with us, which we consider unacceptable in professional service. This restaurant is small, and on the day of our visit, it was completely full. The waitress clearly could not cope with the workload, which may explain her desire to minimize communication with customers. At the same time, as it seemed to us, more attention was paid to regular guests while the new visitors remained waiting. Despite these unpleasantries, the kitchen left a good impression. The food was delicious, and the cooks really knew their business. However, a restaurant is not only food, but also the atmosphere, the level of service and the general mood that guests leave with. Alas, in this case, we did not have the desire to return."
