"We ate here twice on different days and both times the staff was very nice, efficient. The food was excellent both days. On first day we had the wings and salad and deep dish pizza. Great food. Bit of a wait but pleasant atmosphere, so we did not mind. When food arrived it was fresh, hot and more than enough for two people. Pizza was very good, crust was so good too. Wings were huge and really good. The next time we came for lunch and had the burgers and fries and salad. Again, food was excellent and service was excellent as well. Great place for a good meal"

The deep dish pizza was excellent. The crust and sauce were the best we've had in a while.

This deep dish pizza comes with a rich sauce, great tasting crisp vegetables, flavorful sausage and pepperoni, and a home feel.

The thin crust pizza at this restaurant is delicious, with flavorful cheese and a crispy crust. The waitress was friendly and provided great service.

Only one worker at the time and it just felt understaffed and really disappointed in the deep dish pizza. There was not much cheese and the ingredients were all really bland. View menu

Loved the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. Would definitely return to try more dishes. Very accommodating to our requests. Would recommend for couples and groups.

Fantastic experience. Not overally crowded. Great deep dish pizza at an even better price. Super friendly and accommodating staff. Best of all... they serve Pepsi products! I'll make plans to come here every time I'm in Chicago.

I was supper excited to try a different Chicago style deep dish. This pizza was a total disappointment. I am from Ohio and we have a Giordanos and we love there pizza, we couldn't wait to get to Chicago and try some other pizza places total let down View menu

We originally visited this restaurant as part of the Chicago Pizza Tour and were impressed. Despite the lack of atmosphere, the pizza was really good and reasonably priced. It wasn't crowded, and the quality of the pizza rivaled that of Geno's, Giordano's, and other well-known establishments. I would gladly return to this restaurant anytime.

For a city steeped in pizza choices, I have to say this place produces average, middle of the road, pizza. That said, place was clean, service was great, and the food wasn't bad, just not very special. Went on a Friday night and place was slow. Got the thin crust, was thicker than most, say 1/2 inch or so, and somewhat firm. Toppings were fine, fair amount of cheese. A little pricey but location is OK. Just think there are better choices nearby.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
