"I’ve heard the line for this place can be really crazy, so my SF foodie friend and I were excited to try it. The restaurant is super cute inside, and the service is great. The hardest working folks in the restaurant are the bussers; they really hustle which was noticed and appreciated! As for the food, it’s good but not particularly amazing enough to wait an hour plus for a table… but I did see that they have a different menu for weekend brunch. Perhaps that’s where it’s at.We asked what a must have is and our server recommended the buttermilk biscuit; she was right. Yum. As for our main plates, we had the fried egg sandwich and the plow. Both were nicely done.It was a great meeting place for a nice weekday brekky to meet an old friend or a work colleague. I wouldn’t particularly make my weekend plans around this place… at least not for breakfast. That said, I’d definitely come back for a different experience perhaps dinner?"

My new favorite place for brunch. Food was great. Very tasty. Didn?t wait that long but that?s probably because we went mid week rather than the weekend. Plan accordingly. Parking can be a challenge.

Gets crowded at around 9am on a weekday but it?s not a long wait to get a table. The plow potatoes and the lemon ricotta pancakes are really special. And get them with the chicken apple sausage! Lovely outdoor seating if the weather is nice.

What a gem of a place! The food is amazing! We love that you can taste the fresh homemade flavors in every part of the meal. Food is simple quality, and the service is engaging and attentive. Great corner spot in beautiful S.F. with nice outdoor seating and views. Plow is always popular, so go early!Food: 5/5

This is a decent spot for brunch, but I likely wouldn't wait in line for it. The ricotta pancake was enjoyable, although a bit on the dry side. The potatoes were tasty, and while the service wasn't the most attentive due to the busy atmosphere, the staff was generally friendly. I recommend arriving early on a weekday to beat the crowds. Overall food rating: 4/5. View menu

Food is good but not worth waiting overly long for. Actually liked their pastured eggs (the orange yolk kind) the best. Buttermilk biscuit and lemon ricotta pancakes are also good. Their hot sauce is not hot at all. Their Plow special with coffee, etc. will set you back $30+ after tax and tip. 6/7 update: Their steak and eggs was alright; I think I would stick with other options in the future. Pastured egg yolks were yellow but still tasted great.

The food at Plow is exceptional, but the service can be hit or miss, which I attribute to how crowded it gets most days. If possible, I suggest steering clear of Plow on weekends, as the wait can exceed two hours. For locals, visiting on a weekday is the best option to avoid a long wait. The food is consistently top-notch, and my favorite dish, The Plow, offers a little bit of everything. I highly recommend Plow if you're willing to dedicate a couple of hours to wait for a table.

Probably one of the best brunch I’ve had in the bay. After being discouraged multiple times on weekends by the long wait, we went for weekday brunch and waited about 15 minutes. The food itself is not the most innovative, but it’s hard to find a place that gets all the fundamentals down as perfectly as Plow. Their signature ‘The Plow’ is definitely the go-to: the scrambled eggs was creamy, the potatoes just crunchy enough, the lemon ricotta pancakes with the right amount of tang, and the pork sausage seasoned to perfection. Will definitely visit and try out the other dishes as well ?? I first saw a friend post about this place and I liked what I saw so I saved it for another time I’d be in the city. My husband and I recently went the morning after 2023 Pride and we both had a very nice experience overall. The wait time wasn’t too long but it’s definitely the place to be because people kept lining up. Our waitress was very friendly. We started with mimosas and I had some coffee. We had the Hong Kong style toast to start. It was sweet and savory. We both had The Plow breakfast. Nice big portions and everything was prepared perfectly. We will be back again to try something new ?

Quaint brunch cafe vibes that is easily the most popular spot in the Portrero Hill area. The line isn’t necessarily worth the wait unless you can find things to do nearby while waiting. Our group waited a little over one and a half hours and spent the time catching up at Farley’s over coffee across the street. Ricotta lemon pancakes were sweet and fluffy; they’re worth trying as are the plow potato’s for a good side dish. The host and waiter that seated and served us were really friendly, which is often not the case at these really popular food spots.I’d like to try the chicken sandwich next time around.

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
