"My mom has recently fallen in love with poke bowls, and these were fall-in-love-with-able. We actually each got the same signature bowl (The Corner) with brown rice, but I gave her my salmon and I took her eel because I love eel and dislike salmon, and she loves salmon but hates eel. The staff was friendly, quick and informative about their offerings and the restaurant was clean and nice, a good feel for lunch or casual quick dinner. Though we ordered their signature bowls, they didn 't mind our obnoxious substitution situation, even though you could just put your own bowl together. Also, they have vegan, vegetarian and meat (pork, chicken) options, and (obviously) gluten free as well, so if you aren 't comfortable with raw fish (or cooked fish like the eel in the bowls my mom and I got) there are still delicious choices. I know a lot of poke bowls use pineapple, but there was (ripened to perfection) mango in these ones, and it was better for it!Vegetarian options: You can go without a protein or get tofuParking: It 's at Barrack 's Road Shopping Center, most of which is, in fact, the most confusing parking lot ever in the world."

The rainbow bowl with mango was fantastic! It reminded me of my favorites from Waikiki and various spots in Hawaii. It's definitely a place worth visiting! View menu

This is actually some of the best poke I've ever had anywhere. The fish was really fresh and flavorful and wasn't drenched in some awful overpowering sauce. The toppings all worked together and didn't overpower or compete with each other. I didn't try their bubble tea or other dishes.Food: 5/5

I don't really review places ever so you KNOW this place is great. Absolutely fantastic experience overall. Food is incredible. Menu is super easy to follow and very informative! Staff are incredibly friendly and hard-working!! I had a wonderful time here and I just can't get over how good this bowl is as I type this review in between bites. Please stop by if you have a chance!!! You can't miss this gem. The ONLY concern i'd voice is price, but honestly, I found it quite worth it.

The bubble tea here is much better than Kung Fu tea in midtown. I've only gotten the black milk tea and the mango tea, so I can't speak for any of the other flavors, but its pretty good. Not too watery like you get with some place. The poke is also pretty good. The rice is fresh (so not like some other places where its all crunchy and gross) and the fish is obviously fresh and good quality. I recommend making your own bowl and getting just the stuff that you like in it. There's plenty of seating here, not necessarily because there's a lot of it but mostly just because I think most people (myself included) do take-away. View menu

A pretty solid poke bowl place albeit I didn't really put too much effort into ordering. I ordered a House Bowl while my girlfriend ordered a custom salmon bowl for a total of $37 which is quite steep considering we paid the same amount of the other poke bowl place in Philly. It tasted good and was warm, but it wasn't anything that amazing. The fish was subpar as it wasn't that fresh. Considering that it's hard to find other poke bowl places around here, this is your best bet, but it's nothing too special. Expect a good quality meal for a rather steep price.I would recommend going if you're craving this in Charlottesville, but know that you can get better at other places in VA.

FOOD SERVICEPoke Sushi Bowl's location at Barracks is a great place to grab a quick and solid meal. We came around 1:00 p.m. and ordered our bowls from a slightly flustered staff member. The place was on the busier side with online and in person orders, and he seemed to be a bit overwhelmed meeting demand. We ordered to bowls to eat at the restaurant one house bowl and one build your own. Both were delicious, and it's great that they've still maintained the unlimited toppings deal despite limiting trends from other poke places. You could divide each bowl into one big meal or two small ones, as it was quite satisfying for one sitting.DRINKSBubble tea, carbonated drinks, and other drinks are av...
