The Publyk House - Menu

The Publix House went above and beyond to accommodate my large party of almost 30 people. Food and especially salad bar were out of this world. Staff was amazing and did a great job making sure we had everything we needed.

The bacon and scallop appetizer was absolutely delightful! The salad bar offered a wide variety of options, and the fresh loaf of bread with maple butter was fantastic! The steaks were cooked to perfection, and the views from the deck were incredible!

Alyssa truly impressed me with her professionalism. She was attentive and interacted wonderfully with my two children at the table. The public house is just as I remember it from the 1990s—always a fantastic dining experience. The cod dish was outstanding! View menu

The food was delicious. I really liked the blackened salmon and the bread with maple butter. However, we felt a bit cramped with the table right next to us, and there was a man across the room who was quite noisy, which made it hard to enjoy the atmosphere.

Very load place (Thus the name for restaurant Publyk House). It was dinner time though....server was wonderful, and food was good and hot. I saw someone conniving for a free piece of roast beef after he already ate the cut he received and then complained. The restaurant gave him a bigger cut to take home. This person gloated about how he got this for free till he left.

We were looking forward to eating here after driving by for several years. Very pretty interior but a bit noisy to me. Food was average. The exception was maple butter for bread was delish. Disappointed that they took the carrot cake off the menu although it was on the presented menu. It was my husband's birthday and it is his favorite. Overall it was fine but a little disappointing. We come to the area 3-4 times/year. Publyk put out a brand new menu yesterday. Our food was not good. I ordered fish and chips and I am quite sure it was a packaged frozen product. My husband's strip steak was at least 1/3 gristle. The warm bread was cool. The restaurant was mostly empty and the hostess seated us against the wall and inches from a noisy table. Everything was overpriced. We will not return.

Started dinner with warm bread and maple butter which was awesome. Great salad bar with lots of choices. I had the creamy shrimp scampi which was absolutely delicious and my husband had the pork chops with apples which he enjoyed thoroughly. Portion size was perfect. I saved room for the maple walnut ice cream which was creamy and crunchy. It was a great evening and it will definitely not be the last time we eat here.

I’d been wanting to try this place for a while and so stopped in for dinner recently. Overall, the place was clean, the service was decent, and the food was okay with slight exception on some items.I got the pork chop dish and chose rice pilaf as my side and it came with asparagus. I also chose to try out the salad bar and got a cup of the cheddar broccoli soup. I will say that the soup was great with plenty of flavor and broccoli that was just firm enough. The salad bar wasn’t anything special, with your usual shaved carrots, cherry tomatoes, etc and seemed sort of out of place, but it was okay for what it was.
